On March 1, 2012 Nottingham Country Garden Club will feature Marilyn Almon, a Fort Bend Master Gardener. Her program will be “Propagation.” Meet and greet time begins at 9:30 AM and the program will start at 10 AM, followed by the NCGC Meeting. Watch for information regarding our annual plant and bake sale, which will be coming up at the end of March. We welcome all people interesting in gardening and gardening related areas from West Houston and the Katy area. You do not have to live in Nottingham Country to belong to our group! NCGC is a non-profit organization affiliated with the Houston Federation of Garden Clubs and the National Federation of Garden Clubs. (Our membership dues include the fees for these.) The purpose of the club is to promote beautification in the community, support local and national educational and charitable organizations and educate the community about our environment. Donations from the NCGC are funded by our annual Spring Plant and Bake Sale and projects that vary each year.
Nottingham Country Garden Club annual Fundraising Plant and Bake Sale On Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 10 am to 2 pm the Nottingham Country Garden Club will have their annual Fundraising Plant and Bake Sale. The sale will take place in the parking lot of Pin Oak Village at the SE corner of Pin Oak & Kingsland, catty corner from Walgreens and South of Katy Mills Mall. We will be selling plants of many varieties and sizes grown by our club gardeners and home-baked goodies, all at excellent prices.
