BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
The WCIA Board meets the 3rd Monday of every month with an open homeowner forum the first 15 minutes of the meeting. Pool Usage
The pools will be opening before you know it! The new laws that were passed by the state legislature still allows associations to require all homeowners be current on their maintenance assessments to enjoy the use of the pools. If you are on a payment plan, you cannot use the pools until your assessments are paid in full, including the use by your tenant.
Texas Law: Dogs Must Be Contained or On Leash
One of our homeowners was walking her dogs on Franz Road recently and she and her dogs were attacked by a large brown dog that was loose. The large dog bolted out of the garage when she walked in front of the house. This is the same woman whose dogs were attacked two years ago by the tenant’s Rottweiler on Moonhollow. She was mauled, one of her Chihuahuas was seriously injured and subsequently died. When she contacted the house owner (rental property), through her attorney, the owner said he had no liability insurance. The attorney did not want to pursue the case at that point. Landlords need to be carrying liability insurance and/or require it from their tenants when leasing the home.
