It takes some 20 – 30 minutes until you can start to grill, depending on how you ignite the grill. There are two problems: The heating up time is very long, and the temperature continuous to increase.

At the Röshults Booster grill, the heating up time is only some 3 – 5 minutes. The enhancement of the glow bed depends of the power, or volume, of the infrasound. That makes it possible to regulate the intensity of the glow bed and hence the grilling temperature.

Fibers and threads are colored in depth, and colors do not fade in the sun. It also resists warning and washing. Compare with carrot (identical color throughout) vs radish (only colored on the surface). Sunbrella guaranties colours in 8 year. It is specially treated to be stain- and water-repellent. It is easy to maintain (lukewarm water and soap solution). It also lets air come through (less moisture, quicker drying time). The fabrics are removable and reversible. The steel we use is a stainless steel quality and is of type 304 and require minimal maintenance. But it is not completely maintenance free. On surfaces with stainless steel we strongly recommended to wipe off with warm water and pH adjusted soap (pH 9 or pH 10). If stains appears, you can use a standard rust removal and polishing for stainless steel. Never use brushes or sponges with metal. These can press elements of metal into the material, which means that it can start to rust. COATING: AKZO NOBEL NOIR 2200 SABLÉ YW360F Finishes on all our furnitures are made with AkzoNobel’s Interpon D2525 technology. Interpon D2525 is an ultra durable powder coating, which meets the demanding weathering requirements of the leading industry specifications Qualicoat Class 2, GSB. Master, and AAMA 2604-05, as well as BS EN 12206.

INSIDE- Our cushions get less wet than others and dry faster. The foam is odorless . It has also an effective resilience that reduces seating marks. A good balance between those three properties is in our opinion what makes our cushions effective in time. TEAK Teak is a yellowish brown timber with good grains and texture. It is one of the most in demand woods throughout the entire world, due to beauty and unique properties. Unlike other woods, teak will not wrap, crack, becoming brittle or turn colour when in contact with metal, making it an ideal choice for marine use. It is also one of a select few woods found throughout the world that has a naturally high oil content which makes it resistant to rotting when exposed to climactic extremes such as water damage. Due to this it has been a mainstay in the boat building industry for several centuries, for use in decking and construction, and it is also because of this that teak is the timber of choice for garden furniture. The natural oils that teak wood produces also make it resistant to termites and other insects, another factor that makes it extremely popular for use in outdoor furniture.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Teak does not need to be protected. It is a unique wood that if left in its natural state, is virtually maintenance-free. Teak can be left outside year round, surviving even the most extreme weather conditions. Although over time, untreated teak furniture which is exposed to the sun will develop a patina and a silvery, grey colour. This process is cosmetic and does not harm the strength or quality of the wood. Teak sealer is often recommended to preserve the natural honey colour. Teak sealer contains UV protection to keep the sun from graying the furniture as well as a fungicide to prevent the growth of mould and mildew on the surface of your furniture. Sealer is not the same as varnish. It is meant to preserve the colour of the wood and is breathable, letting the natural oils escape without bubbling or peeling like varnish. Sealers and preservatives serve both as protectants and stains. Generally, the darker the stain, the more sun protection it provides, and the less often it needs to be reapplied. Applying the preservative is straightforward. On the first application, the wood should be allowed to stand in the sun for a week or two to allow the wood grain to open. A coat of teak sealer should be sprayed on and rubbed in. Two coats should be applied in this manner. The area underneath the furniture should be protected with a drop cloth or newsprint as most sealers will stain concrete. After the first application, teak sealer should be reapplied every year by cleaning the wood with mild detergent and water and spraying and rubbing in a coat only on the surfaces that get sun. After the furniture is sealed, very little care is needed to preserve the finish. Occasional washing with soap and water will remove normal soil. Oils from foods, wine, coffee and some condiments will penetrate the sealer and may leave a stain. To avoid this, a teak clear coat can be applied to the table top to improve stain resistance.

DESIGNERS BROBERG & RIDDERSTRÅLE

CORNELIA LINDLÖF

Johan Ridderstråle and Mats Broberg have collaborated on various projects since their studies at the University College of Arts, Crafts and Design in Stockholm, Sweden. Their studio Broberg & Ridderstråle is located in Stockholm, where they work on architecture and design. The duo strive to add an emotional value to their design, communicating with the user through recognition of symbols and meanings. They draw inspiration from everyday life and combine a rational approach with a bit of wit. Their designs also acknowledge the clash between the past and the present. Broberg & Ridderstråle have won several prestigeous awards, such as the Wallpaper Design Award, the Elle Interior Design Price, the Good Design Award and Residencence Magazine’s Designer of the Year.

Cornelia Lindlöf owns the design studio Neongrå in Stockholm. She pursued her education in Art & Form 2001-2003 (Per Brahe). She has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a specialisation in building projects with architectural technology. She finds inspiration in the architecture of urban environments.

AMSELL BERLIN Pia Amsell and Barbro Berlin are educated at Beckmans School of Design were they studied product and furniture design. Amsell Berlin Designstudio was established 2004 in Stockholm, Sweden. The studios work cover design of different products like tableware, lighting, furniture and textiles. Pia Amsell and Barbro Berlin have a passionate interest in food- and drink-related products. They have designed and developed several collections of utensils and knifes in collaboration with professional chefs. They make deep research in every project and have also a great interest in influencing trends. The ambition is to create functional and harmonic products for daily life as well as for celebrations. The design has often a timeless, uneffected expression that is easy to assimilate.

PER FRANSON Per Franson has received an honorary degree from Parsons School of Design in New York. After having spent four years in the big city, he returned to Sweden and achieved his master’s degree in architecture at Royal College of Art in 1998. Together with Mattias Wreland he formed the design practice Franson Wreland, and they have engaged in several exiting projects ever since.

THOMAS BERNSTRAND

ANDERS NORGREN

Thomas Bernstrand was born in 1965 in Bromma, Sweden. After studies at University College of Arts, Crafts and Design, Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Thomas founded the studio Bernstrand & Co. The studio supplies product design as well as interior and landscape design for Swedish and international clients. He aims to create objects customised for everyday life, with a personal and charming appeal. Through his strong and practical ideas, his products highlights individuality. Bernstrand has received multiple awards, for instance the prestigious Bruno Mathson Scholarship, DIM Design Award and Swedish Architect’s Siena Award.

Anders Norgren (1945 – 2016) lived in Jönköping, Sweden. He was an author, psychiatric nurse and philosopher. Anders designed the original Röshults Fire basket. Influenced by his professions, he found inspiration in human values as well as in human needs.
