infracture specially designed for a historical adventure. For centuries, different civilisations such as the Punics, Celts, Romans, Visigoths, Jews, Arabs and Christians have dominated the peninsula and its archipelagos, pervading these cities with their histroy and architecture. The traces of these cultures around the country can be followed on thematic routes designed by the Grupo Ciudades Patrimonia de la Humanidad de España. The wide range of tourist, sports and social facilities let you combine a visit to the historic centre with several sports and recreational activities, visits to exuberant nature reserves, conferences and conventions, whilst enjoying its most modern architectural landmarks or sampling the varied gastronomy.
