02 " CASCADING COMPLEX" LARGE-SCALE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN

PROJECT: RESORT DESIGN WORKING TYPE: INDIVIDUAL COMPLETION TIME: JUL. 2020

Large space is often the product of the dual forces of consumerism and capital operation, when capital and social forms are facing transformation and change, large physical space is also facing transformation, this transformation often requires a lot of manpower, materials, and financial resources, at present, with highly developed information technology, capital changes often occur in a short time, how the city

10

CASCADING COMPLEX

responds to this change is the content of this Project, this scheme hopes to establish a growable building in the existing space resources, according to the future development of the city, it can continue to “grow” upward to adapt to the development and spatial form, among numerous space types representing capital and consumerism, I choose five-star hotels as a medium for discussing.

The site is located in Guangzhou of China, adjacent to the Guangzhou Grand Theater built by Zaha Hadid in the East and the Pearl River in the south, on the other side of the Pearl River standing the Guangzhou Tower, and creates a visual echo with the site. The number of tourists visiting Guangzhou Tower and Guangzhou Grand Theater is increasing, and the stress of tourists' accommodation is also increasing.

To strengthen the overall design of building boundary and street space and avoid largearea solid walls along the street, this scheme is combined with the unique arcade culture in Guangzhou to expand the porch into a corridor along the street, with one side open to the street and the shop window on the other side.

Arcade in Guangzhou starting from early twentieth Century, in various forms, to preserve the integrity, is representative of the Guangdong arcade.

03 "OVER THE RAINBOW" LARGE-SCALE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN

PROJECT: VERTICAL FARM DESIGN WORKING TYPE: INDIVIDUAL COMPLETION TIME: JAN. 2021

With the development of society, people are more and more dependent on land. Cities with excessive floor area ratio, green areas deprived by urbanization, disputes caused by land resources, etc. This scheme hopes to transform human

Chongqing belongs to subtropical monsoon climate (or subtropical monsoon humid climate). Chongqing has a mild climate and belongs to a subtropical humid monsoon climate. The annual average temperature is about 18 ° C. The total sunshine time is 1000-1200 hours, with warm winter and hot summer, long frost-free period, and abundant rainfall, the annual rainfall is 1000-1450 mm, especially the night rain between spring and summer. 04 "MAZE GARDEN" SMALL-SCALE ARCHITECTURE DESIGN PROJECT: EXHIBITION HALL DESIGN WORKING TYPE: INDIVIDUAL COMPLETION TIME: OCT. 2021

The traditional exhibition space mostly separates the exhibition hall from the external space, and the dependence on a large number of artificial light sources completely disconnects the internal atmosphere of the building from the weak changes of external natural light, I try to apply the new space model to the traditional exhibition space to create an ambiguous space form across the internal and external environment, the purpose of this project is to discuss the results of the expansion of the boundary

between the internal enclosed space and the external natural space. There is beautiful scenery in the Art Park of Shuangliu County, I hope to create a translucent space and introduce the scenery into the building. The translucent shell is added outside the curved gallery wall surface to introduce the natural terrain and greening into the architectural boundary, blur the boundary between architecture and nature, and naturally implant the whole gallery into the park.

23

The site is located in Art Park of Shuangliu District, Chengdu, with Shuangliu District Library in the north, Shuangliu Planning Museum in the south, and a high-rise residential area in the west with small parking lots. The gallery building is located in the park, and on the east side is Fengwu Lake, an artificial lake of dozens of Mu made of natural water. The theme of the whole park is "art", in which a large number of artistic sketches are implanted, which are combined with natural scenery to form a space with culture, education, and communication.

05 "ROVER" RELOCATABLE BUDILNG DESIGN WORKING TYPE: INDIVIDUAL COMPLETION TIME: AUG. 2021

The arrival of the post epidemic era has brought subtle changes in architectural space, the situation of the fixed place and single function directionality of urban space has been gradually broken, movable and prefabricated buildings have a new scope of application, more concentrated and targeted solutions on urban public problems in the epidemic era are needed, such as

28

alleviating the problem of urban homeless persons. The existence of these vagrants may cause hidden dangers to the city image, social security, and even the spread of the epidemic to a certain extent. I hope to introduce some buses for vagrants into the city, which can provide a temporary and mobile living space for those in need, at the same time, it is more convenient for urban public safety management.

ROVER

The site of the project is located in Shanghai of China. Due to the gap between the rich and the poor caused by the rapid economic development, some people can't afford the rent and wander on the street. After investigation, I selected some places where vagrants gather in cities, and placed buses for vagrants in these places, hoping to alleviate social pressure.

The existence of homeless persons will affect the image of the city and the public order. I randomly surveyed some people in the homeless gathering place in Shanghai and asked about their wandering experience. Li Lei Has been homeless for 20 years because of he's broke. Wang Zhenxing has been homeless for 7 months He has been living under a viaduct, making a bed out of cardboard boxes and scraping by by begging Shen Wei Has been homeless for 4 years Gave up family and job beacuse of the social pressure Fu Liping Has been homeless for 8 years Zhong Guoqiang Has been homeless for 1 years Xu Wei Has been homeless for 2.5 years He wandered with his guitar and supported himself by singing Wu Qian Has been homeless for 2 years He lost his family and friends because of his criminal record, and no company would hire him

INSTALLING

The Project hopes to transform abandoned vehicles based on government public welfare programs and make use of the driving system of vehicles and the building space to provide a mobile home for homeless persons. To facilitate the installation and construction of buses for vagrants, prefabricated containers will be adopted in the Project.

NODE DIAGRAM Bed Lamp

‘BOX’ module Indoor Window

For installation and replacement, the living space uses removable modules that can be inserted into a preset structural system. The size of a BOX is1m x 2m x 0.5 m. It can accommodate the daily life of a vagrant. There is a sliding rod inside the box, which is used to install the bed curtain and the bedside lamp for lighting. To save space, the beds are arranged in the way of bunk beds. The lower part of the bed is provided with storage space.
