There are several great hikes to trek within Bryce Canyon National Park. Fairyland Loop Trail is a less crowded trail that took me on a magical journey through hoodoos and vistas that are uncommon in places other than Bryce Canyon. You will be witness to many strange shapes and magnificent colors along this hike. These “hoodoos” were formed from the eroding sedimentary rock which was deposited over 60 million years ago. Though you get a great look at the hoodoos from the rim of the park, nothing beats getting into the heart of the canyon. The Fairyland Loop gets you into the heart of the canyon and will delight you and surprise you with its ever changing vistas of “cotton candy” like colors and formations. The 8 + miles goes all too quickly. When I came out of the hike I couldn’t imagine not having done it. No view compares to the views from within. Points of Interest Keep track of images from Bryce Canyon as they are added and updated!
