ONLINE PARTY OVERVIEW
Basics
What is an online party?
Presenting…YOU!
An online party is hosted on a social media platform like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc., but this guide will just focus on hosting a Facebook party. There are many benefits of hosting an online party. Be sure to share the below benefits with each of your Hostesses:
Here are some tips on how to make Facebook work for you:
Success is at your fingertips
• Use the Facebook scheduling feature to post announcements in advance
Here’s what you and your Hostess will need to host a party online:
• Look for the “GO LIVE” button in the script for great video opportunities
• An Active Personal Website Subscription on mythirtyone.com(.ca) • An active Facebook account (or other preferred social media account) • Familiarity with Facebook (or other preferred social media platform) • Hostess Coaching Checklist
GO LIVE
• Check in periodically throughout the day to respond to questions and comments • The most important thing? Be yourself! Post words and images that are true to you • Use this graphic between posts throughout your party to place orders before the party closes:
• Social media graphic images (your own or the ones provided on thirtyonetoday.com(.ca) under Marketing Materials We recommend 5-day Facebook parties and three posts per day (morning, afternoon and evening). This gives Customers enough time to join the party when it’s convenient and enough time to shop more than once; however, you and your Hostess can tailor your party to be shorter or longer as is best for both of you. During an online party, Customers will visit your website to shop even when you’re not online. Your personal website is open 24/7 and works for you around the clock! 3
BEFORE THE PARTY
• Use the Facebook Live feature to post live video and product demos
DURING THE PARTY
• You and your Hostess can set your own schedule with definite start and end times – even extend your party over several days if you like
• Post pictures of yourself using your favorite products or having fun at a party
This graphic is available for you to use. If you prefer not to use these graphics, you can use your own.
AFTER THE PARTY
• There’s no need for your Hostess to clean the house or prepare refreshments
• Follow the suggestions in this script for words and pictures to post
MAKE IT YOUR OWN
• Your Hostess can invite people from anywhere
• Post during peak times on social media: 8 a.m., noon and 8 p.m.
