GHOST PAINTING: (CRACKED CATEGORY) Night & Day Series Kristoffer ArdeĂąa The cracked category of the Ghost Painting concept refers to the process in which several layers of paint are applied to the surface and allowed to crack, much like the walls on the streets of the tropics wherein humidity acts as a catalyst of this transformation irregardless of the visual rhetoric.

The image was then spray painted on then covered with layers of paint until it waas again spray painted and then cracked reavling the underlying layers underneath.
KRISTOFFER ARDEÑA. Lives between Negros island (Philippines) and Madrid (Spain). He has also participated in various collective projects, among them the 3rd Bucharest Biennale (Romania), 3rd Guangzhou Triennale (China), Konstholl C in Stockholm (Sweden), Caixa Forum in Barcelona and La Casa Encendida in Madrid, MUSAC in León (Spain), Casino Forum d’Art Contemporain (Luxembourg), Apexart in New York (USA), Museo Ex Teresa Arte Actual (Mexico) and the Museo de Arte Moderno in Medellin (Colombia).
