The F16 Bath House
The former military of Flyvestaion Værløse has been opened up to the public and the majority of the buildings have yet to find a second life after they got abandoned by the military and are today empty and unused. I challenge the proposed planning of the area by creating a new master plan for the north eastern airbase and detailing one of the architectural interventions of a former F16 Hangar.
6
The master plan defines the area as a gathering point for the new suburban areas being developed in both the northern and southern part of the airbase. Using the existing structures for amenities and common activities in order to bring people together and let them meet one another in a relaxed environment. The detail consists of a transformation of one of the existing F16 Hangars in the master plan into a Bath House. The function is one of the most common facilities in the master plan and the contranst of the hangars former function as a housing for warmachines with the new program of housing the naked body, was one of the points of my initial interests.

Dealing with contamination
A smaller study of how to work with a contaminated piece of land. The project consists of a containment and a decontamination strategy that involves the user in the process of the decontamination. This is done by making the process into an architectural element that shows the areas in need of protection and the area that is being decontaminated. A walkway on the perimeter of the contaminated area changes orientation from outside the circle to the inside and back again outside, as you walk along the path. Three resting platforms marks the middle of the orientation and exhibits the nature. In order to decontaminate the soil, willow trees have been planted, so over time, they can be harvested and slowly remove the contamination in the ground.

Project
Kanagawa University Visitor center
Kristoffer Fahlgren
We have chosen to break the assignment into three parts, where each part has its own scale, the parts and scales are as follows: Addition >< The scale of the city Making the project part of city is important for us, the house is made to be private, and the sloped terrain doesnĂt help with making the site public either. The only part of the property that is accessible to the public is a paid to use parking lot, this area of the property is ideal to open up to a public - or semi public function, since it is level with the nearby street. Our ambition with this area is to make an addition to the property, with a new function that can add value to both Kanagawa University and the property. Transformation >< The human scale Adapting the house to a newer time and a new program is needed, this weĂll do in a form of a transformation. Without removing value from the existing building or property, we would like to bridge the gap between private and public while also addressing the gap between new and old. The transformation is not going to affect the whole property or building, it is meant to bring new life into an old shell, while remembering and respecting the former form and function.
Made in colaboration with Jesper Skovby

Restoration >< The detail
The given assignment is to bring new life to an old residence near Hakuraku station in Kanagawa, Yokohama. The architecture department of Kanagawa University wants the University to buy the property in order to preserve the residence while giving it a new function. There are two requirements for the project: The establishment of a visitor center for Kanagawa University, this will create a strong presence of the university at Hakuraku station and a guesthouse for visiting professors or other external guests, who is connected to Kanagawa University.
The owner of the house was proposed by the railroad company to sell his house for an advantageous price for the owner, but the owner knew they would tear down the house, hence he ended up keeping the house. He saw a value in the house, whether or not these values were architectural or personal, we canĂt judge, but we certainly see both an architectural value but also a cultural value in the house. This has led us to the third part of our project, restoration. We want to restore parts of the house to its original state, without sacrificing its use in a modern setting.

at Nørrebro
Centered around the immigrant women’s center at nørrebro, this project is focused on a small courtyard at Inner Nørrebro. What looks like an abandoned courtyard, unusually small in the context of the surrounding courtyards, has many actors connected through the passageway going through from south to north, but also given the different activities and function in the buildings facing the courtyard. The immigrant women’s center doesn’t allow men inside, so in order to get as much information as possible, I embraced this challenge as a dogma for my project and gathered information through interviews with local actors in the close neighbourhood.
36
The courtyard is transformed from a place filled with rubbish and bikes parked everywhere to a place where common activities can take place.

Down from the church tower, there is a staircase down the tall room, which otherwise consists of its uninsulated shell, raw wooden structures, and its amazing views. This room has been taken over by a new separate structure that allows for a daily use of the space.
05 Absalon chruch The social foodhouse
Absalon Church has been transformed and reprogrammed with the focus on food and will serve as a focal point on Sønder Boulevard. The meeting already takes place in the public space, where the landscape has flown out of the building and leads the viewer into the building, after which you begin to embark on his ascension through the church. A landscape with terraced transitions connects the church with Sønder Boulevard and blurs the perception of space and furniture. A staircase connects the programs across the different levels and stands as a dominant body in the previously closed church room. The dark church ceiling has been opened and the wooden structure is exposed and restored.

FOODJAM is the result of a collaboration between the Food Culture and Roskilde Festival. It is an active public kitchen where curious and hungry festival guests can come to the kitchen with local and organic ingredients and together with a culinary advisor compile and prepare a fresh, varied and tasty meal. FOODJAM opens the doors for the fourth year in a row at Roskilde festival 2015, as the past three years have been a great success, so it seems obvious to me to open the project so that it is available year round. FOODJAM has thus obtained permanent residence in the Absalon Church as well as updated their graphic identity so that the project both fits its now more regular program but also fits the architectural concept that has been made in the church.
