Shipping POLLUTION „Underestimated‟ •

15 of the worlds biggest container ships may now emit as much pollution as all 760 million cars in the world.

One giant container ship can emit almost the same amount of cancer and asthma-causing chemicals as 50 million cars.

Pollution from the world‟s 90,000 cargo ships leads to 60,000 deaths a year in the US alone.

US government to impose a strict 230-mile buffer zone along the entire US coast.

RAW Materials

AAI has sourced raw materials through the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC).

By purchasing raw materials containing these labels, we support the growth of “responsible forest management.”

Our material vendors provide FSC C.O.C. (Chain of Custody) Documents that reference the material used for the veneer, plywood and MDF.

We use Formaldehyde-free soy-based adhesives

Say GOODBYE To Formaldehyde Formaldehyde belongs in a jar, not in your guest room. •

•

Formaldehyde is a known carcinogen (a cancer causing substance) and irritant that could lead to possible cancers such as nasopharyngeal cancer and leukemia. They usually find their way into furniture woods and glues. AAI uses 100% soy based adhesive board in all products. No extra costs.

AAI's ships on dedicated trucks to insure our ability to back haul material.
