The aim of this thesis is to redevelop and decongest the Goubert market, popularly known as the "Grand Bazaar" of Puducherry, to create more employment opportunities through architecture. This market located amidst the French and Tamil quarters is famous for its iconic clock tower and one of a kind ambiance. This thesis project is a part of the B.Arch program, done under Sathyabama University, Chennai.
