Youth Learn-to-Swim Classes How it works There are five levels in the Learn to Swim Program. Each level includes the teaching and assessment of swimming and water safety skills. Students are moved through the progressive levels as they accomplish the skills required at each level. Please note that a student may remain at the same level for multiple sessions until they master the skills necessary to advance to the next level. The lessons are taught in small group classes by Certified American Red Cross Instructors and Aides. Kroc Instructors make swimming lessons fun and help students develop both swimming skills and self confidence. Swim lessons are 25-minutes in length. Five minutes are given between lessons to enter and exit the pool. For maximum efficiency, please be on time and dressed in swimwear prior to the lesson start time. Please remember to bring a towel.
