Pickup Game Policy
Pickup basketball and volleyball are designed for ages 14 and over to play a few friendly games. To allow our teams to compete in an organized fashion, signups for pickup will start at 6:30pm at the kiosk with the Gym Attendant. Members and Day pass users must sign up themselves and must be present and in line to be on the list. Members and Day pass users may not hold spots for others. Gym attendants will be sure signups follow the list in succession— no skipping spots or teams. The next team on the list will be on the side of the court keeping score.
Teams of 5 will be created by the sign-up sheet. Games are to 12 by 1’s and 2’s or highest score with a 12-min time limit (subject to change). Players will call their own fouls and ref their own games. No shooting free throws, as fouls will be taken out at half court. No shot clock.
Teams of 6 will be created by the sign-up sheet. Games are to 21, with subject to change to 15. Next team will ref the game by calling serve, net violations, and provide two-line judges and a score keeper.
To allow everyone the opportunity to compete, the winning team will stay on the court for a maximum of two (2) consecutive games. On their second win, winners must go back on the wait list along with losing team. Two new teams will then enter the court. The Arts: Dance Beginner Modern
Baby Ballerinas
Express yourself in this beginning level class! Break away from the classical techniques and move your body unconventionally. By nature, it's movements and shapes are pedestrian in nature, allowing everyone access to the art form. It also can incorporate forms of ballet, modern and jazz. Modern is often used to convey a feeling or message, but in a highly individual way. For new dancers, this offers an opportunity to not feel like their ability and dance needs to match anyone else's. This intro level class is all about you being you, and dancing with joy in your heart. Min. 6; Max. 20
This is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore creative movement and the foundations of musicality. With an emphasis on motor planning and foundational ballet technique, children will be engaged with fun activities that will prepare them for more advanced classes. Parents may join at instructor requests. Min. 6; Max. 16

Kroc Center Hawaii is more than a fitness club or community center—it is also a place of Christian worship. Each Sunday, people of all ages and backgrounds come to worship God, celebrate community, and strengthen family connections. We are simply a group of people with a common desire to love Jesus and love people. We invite you to join us. Bring your whole family—we have something for the little keiki as well as teenagers. And no need to get dressed up, we’ll be honored to have you just the way you are. We look forward to meeting you! We're dedicated to keeping you safe.
