Giving hope, inside and out.

Our vision is to be a community center where families, individuals, and relationships thrive—all in the name of Jesus.

As we re-examine our future, we embrace the dream of our benefactor, Joan Kroc, and will continue to provide a safe gathering place with facilities and trained professionals who help to nurture children’s social skills,

arts appreciation, and athletic potential. We remain committed to our responsibility to be a beacon of light and hope in the community. We will work tirelessly to provide programs that strengthen the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness of our most vulnerable community residents as they actively recover from this pandemic.

Now more than ever, giving hope is crucial. The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii remains committed to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and meeting human needs, in his name, without discrimination. It has long been our vision to be a community center where families, individuals, and relationships thrive in the name of Jesus, and though that vision remains, this year, we took the opportunity to expand that vision beyond our community center walls.

Since 2012, The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii has served 331,878 members, provided program services to 386,400 community members, and awarded $1,181,652 in scholarships. And we are just getting started. As we embark on what could be a most challenging year, we remain grounded in the reputation, trust, and credibility of The Salvation Army which is well known for its continuing efforts of doing the most good. What hasn’t changed is our dedication to people. We remain

operations provided us with an opportunity to do exceedingly more than we had planned. We were forced to quickly pivot and identify our community needs, rapidly innovate ways to meet those needs and increase our capacity to do so with limited human and financial resources.

Together we will continue Giving Hope, Inside and Out.
