The client had 2 floor penthouse which he wanted to convert into full fledge commercial office space in Apartment building. The construction was around 50 years old, the main design challenge was to re-design the interior space according to the new functional requirement of 25 staff with CEO office on first floor. The idea was to create space having open space floor plan along with soothing natural colours with little tint of bright walls to enhance the working capability.

Area - 2744 sq.ft
Two 800 sq.ft of flat with double height space in between was initially used as residential space. Staircase was already constructed taking visitor to first floor.

Both the flats were joined to make one huge of fice in which one of first floor area was used as CEO Cabin.Some walls were removed and slab was constrcted in double height area.

TheCONCEPT-concept of the interior was inspired from sand and waves. The pattern, colour, texture was placed and designed keeping patterns naturally created with water and sand.

FF Space was used as bedroom where storage was kept. There were cracks in walls and size of rooms were smaller than required.

The space was opened up to create bigger lounge and cabin for CEO of the company. Interior was designed such that the whole upper floor give more of rustic look with wooden tile flooring ,light coloured walls and veneer used in furniture.
In ground floor the common wall was removed to cater staff working area, conference hall and manager cabin. The kitchen space was tranformed into pantry.
Ground floor makes you feel more earthly full of olive green and wooden tile flooring. Some walls were highlighted to depict more abstract forms of waves throughout the office space.

The Courtyard House Architecture Project
The site is situated in urban area surrounded by residential bungalows around the site. The approaching road directly connects to main road . The bungalow was designed for 6 family members having 1+2 floors. The client wanted more traditional touch to the Architecture while his son and daughter wanted more contemporary touch in bedroom. Both Architecture and interior was designed by KSA Associates.

A deliberate intention is made to express water through Architecture.
