What is Bancroft?

Bancroft is a wonderful community of girl and boy rugby players, where we do training sessions and matches (Wednesdays and Sundays for girls, Tuesdays and Sundays for boys )

Girls Rugby team

The Girls team is a brave, strong and supportive group of girls. We start training at 19:00 and end at 20:30 unless you also want to join in for the Strength and Conditioning which starts at 18:30 with Joe Warrick and Abby. Sometimes we do different meetups at different clubs such as Hackney, Southend or at Bancroft We all go together as united Rugby Players to do a training session and probably a match too. We also have some professional Rugby Players that come to teach us new skills and improve the ones we already have in order to become better rugby players.

Boys Rugby team

The boys team is an exceptional team of strong, fast and skilled group of players. They start rugby at 18:00 and end at 19:00. They can also have matches whether it’s in Canvey Island or at Bancroft.

Partnerships

We are partnered with the Epping Rugby Team, which we altogether call, ‘Eppcroft’.

Overall, Bancroft is an exceptional community of players and we are willing to have anyone who is interested come on down! Bring some boots and a gum shield then you're ready to play.

We hope to see you there!
