Letter from Interim President
Dear Friends,
In my first weeks as Interim President of Northwest Catholic, I’ve been delighted to see how our donors have enabled us to continue the mission of Northwest Catholic to the threshold of our 60th year. In the pursuit of academic excellence, our students have been given the means to achieve success both here, on the collegiate level, and into their future. As a faith-based school, these young people have the opportunity to discern the meaning of life in the context of the Catholic intellectual tradition. Reason serves faith in such a manner that the life of the mind is enhanced by age-old wisdom, even as new insights add further nuance to mindful inquiry.

This publication comes to you as one of many efforts to communicate our achievements made possible by your support. As we embark on our 60th anniversary, we will put in motion our strategic and master plans, which include facility upgrades to enhance our STEM offerings, athletic programs, and admissions outreach. To offer our teams a literally level playing field, we will earmark funds to create greater access for every family seeking a Northwest Catholic education.
In this pandemic, I never cease to be impressed by the agility of our teachers to continue adapting to the ever-changing setting, whether virtual or socially distanced. Our parents are certainly the first teachers of their now teenagers, and we are honored to continue the profound lessons they began. Your investment in Northwest Catholic allows our faculty, staff, and students the flexibility to pivot and continue the task of education seamlessly. It is a privilege to witness such creativity.
The record of goodness that you have in your hands is a testimony to the strong character of our benefactors who recognize the impact of a Northwest Catholic education.
Please be assured of my continued prayers for your health and happiness as we move forward in a mission only made possible by you. St. Thomas Aquinas, pray for us.
