”Try Us Out”

Cost: Free (Ages 50+)

Thursday, July 6th, 9am

Are you new to the center or want to know more about our programs that we offer, then you don’t want to miss our “Try Us Out” session. This will be a session to meet staff, find out what programs we offer, take a tour and ask questions about the center and its programs. You will also be given information about any new programs being offered in the next month. Light refreshments will be served and some free try it out vouchers for certain classes will be given. Please register with the front desk or call 434-6237 to reserve your spot.

Shellem Cline Concert

Shellem Cline is returning to our center for another performance. You will laugh, be encouraged, and inspired by his performance. Come and enjoy the concert and be treated to an ice cream sundae. Please reserve your seat by calling 434-6237 or sign up at the front desk.

Join us and learn about pickleball injuries and prevention! Topics include proper form and body mechanics while playing, how to help avoid pickleball related injuries, recognizing common injuries, treatment and prevention. Please register by Monday, July 17th.

Friday, July 21st, 6pm Come join us for a wonderful night of dancing and fun!

We will have DJ Big Fish playing great music .We are serving Hot Dogs and all the fixings. Please register at Memorial Park Community Center (423)434-6237 by July 18th.

Fundamentals of Casting a Fly Line

Instructor: Jack Sanders

Cost: $40/ person (includes 4 lessons) (ages 15+)

Monday, July 24th – Thursday, July 27th, 10:00-11:30am

Learn how to properly cast a line 40 feet, roll casting, picking up a line, back cast, forward cast and more. Equipment will be provided or bring your own. Register by Thursday, July 20th.
