Free Wall Street Journal Yep, that’s right the paper is being delivered to Fern Ridge for free. If you would like to have it for your class, please feel free to take and use them as needed.

Free Books I have three books that are so new that they are uncorrected publisher proofs. I have not put them in the catalog, so they are free for the taking and can be found on the rolling cart next to the SMARTBoard.

Self Checkout Available On the computer by the door students are able to do self checkout through Destiny. They must know their students number for access. See directions on the next page.

Google Sheets News In Google Sheets you can now do partial formatting within individual cells.

Missouri Summit featuring Google for Education The Google event will be held on October 10th at Liberty High School in Wentzville. All details can be found at www.gafemo.com. This is a great day of learning all centered around Google tools. Last year there were over 300 teachers who came to learn and share together.

Makerspace Showcase at UMSL If you are curious about the makerspace buzz checkout the makerspace showcase on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 from 4-7 pm! The showcase will make visible the growing MakerEd movement in the St. Louis region. This is an open invitation, so please feel free to bring your friends and colleagues. Please see the attached flyer. The showcase will be held in UMSL's new ED Collabitat, a space designed for professional creativity and innovation.
