Mississippi Riverfront

Downtown Davenport

Downtown Davenport is nestled along a gorgeous and unique portion of the Mississippi River where the water flows East to West. With this American landmark as our front porch, the Mighty Mississippi provides the perfect backdrop for riverfront parks and a variety of outdoor activities. As the award-winning River Vision Plan continues to unfold, you can expect to see

even more exciting development along riverfront.

LeClaire Park With unobstructed views of the Mississippi, nearly 9 acres of green space and a historic band shell stage, LeClaire Park is an ideal place to enjoy the Mississippi. Modern Woodmen Park In December of 2007, the ballpark was renamed Modern

Woodmen Park. The new ownership group began making waves soon after with a series of new additions to the ballpark, including the Jumper's Casino Rock Island Hot Tub Deck, the Tikka Village and the corn field during the 2008 season. In 2009 an 80-foot LED digital ribbon board was affixed to the right field wall, and the ballpark also received new Loge Box picnic areas down the third base line, seat backs for the bleachers, drink rails on the outfield berm, and a Van Down by the River. Ballpark Digest had this to say about the ballpark: The integration of the old with the new makes Modern Woodmen Park one of the nicest ballparks in the minors.

Bike Rentals & Walking Trails Enjoy the fresh air and beautiful views offered by the bike and walking trails that line the length of our Mississippi riverfront. MADRID RIO

MADRID, SPAIN The city of Madrid dug 43 kilometres of tunnels into which the exit routes and motorways of the six-

kilometre section along the River Manzanares disappeared. the project Madrid terminating river. where previously circulated 200,000 vehicles per day by the m-30, now there is a huge linear park, a green corridor that stretches from brown to Getafe and follows the course of the river manzanares. Madrid itineraries river has 42 miles and include 11 new children's play areas, 6 spaces for seniors, 30 miles of bike lanes and 253,601 m2 for sports. addition, more than 33,000 trees planted and 429 acres of parkland

Sal贸n de Pinos, designed as a linear green space, which will link the existing and newly designed urban spaces with each other along the Manzanares River, located almost entirely on top of the motorway tunnel, with a "choreography" of the 8.000-fold pine tree planting with a repertoire of cuts.

Huerta de la Partida, the old Royal Palace is now a modern interpretation of the orchard and a wide variety of fruit trees in groups, formed from skipping ranks. For the Arganzuela Park, the dominating motive is the water. The canalized and damped river Manzanares is surrounded by his architectonical walls. The different streams have their own characters.

Avenida de Portugal, one of the most important roads into the centre of Madrid, relocated in a tunnel and providing underground parking, converting the space into a garden, benefitting the local residents in particular with cherry.

Puentes Cascara, serving as bridges and iconic landmark, creates a place where the river is really experienced. They are designed as a massive concrete dome with a rough texture which have the scale of park elements with more than one hundred cables resembling whale baleens wearing the slim steel deck. The fine detailing becomes visible when entering the bridge. The ceilings have a mosaic of the Spanish artist Daniel

Canogar. In the edge of the ceiling the lighting is included which illuminates the artwork and the deck by reflection
