What’s KSU Deals, you ask? Well it’s The Sentinel’s way of finding local discounts for students, of course! Created by students, for students – we set out on a money saving mission to find out where students can stretch their dollar and make it count. We sought out folks who understand what it’s like to operate on a college budget and with their help, compiled a collection of KSU-centric discounts for students to utilize. From food and drink to wireless technology, there’s a deal for everyone to take advantage of. We’re confident that over time, KSU Deals can grow into a helpful tool for students to rely on for saving money within the Kennesaw community. hard to be in a bad mood when we’re surrounded by frozen yogurt. Bad days seem to melt away from the sweet aromas alone, especially amongst ZoYo’s expansive self-serve topping bar that has 51 toppings to choose from, and new, inventive flavors that rotate regularly. and wife duo behind the counter, Craig and Robin Kovel, run this happy little yogurt shop with a genuine love for tasty treats as well as a love for their community. By supporting local schools and offering KSU Happy Hour where in the last hour of every business day KSU students can show their student ID’s to get 25 percent off their purchase – it’s easy to see why we feel like family after leaving this place. Plus, the clean, open atmosphere matched with upbeat music makes the store sunny, airy and light – making ZoYo the
perfect place to spend the afternoon studying (free WiFi included). They even have an open, dogfriendly patio. “We wanted to create something that college students would want to come and enjoy,” the Kovel’s explained. “If someone is having a bad day, we want them to leave with a smile on their face.” It’s easy to see why ZoYo is our go-to spot for satisfying our sweet tooth and with this KSU Deal, now it’s even easier to get our froyo on.

Especially amidst all of the presentations, research papers and finals we’re burdened with this time of year.
