KHUTTA MA JUTTA A PLACE FOR SNEAKERHEADS TO BE

KHUTTAMAJUTTA better known as (KMJ) started for the sole reason of our love for the sneaker community. To create a proper authentic place for sneakers to be washed and cleaned at in Nepal. We know how hectic it could be to find a professional place for your sneakers to be washed that you prize so dearly. Hence KHUTTAMAJUTTA is proud to be the first authentic sneaker laundry service in Kathmandu,Nepal. We know your sneaker deserves the best. Bring it to KMJ and you will never be disappointed with their services. providing a standard hand-wash procedure to your sneakers with pre-tested 100% authentic products where freshness is guaranteed.

SNEAKER CARE 101 FOR BEGINNERS:

KEEP YOUR KICKS GOOD AS NEW. There’s nothing more exciting than copping a new pair of sneakers from brands like Nike, adidas, Balenciaga, Gucci and more. What’s heartbreaking though, is when the weather suddenly turns cloudy and rainy, or you simply spill some street food on your new shoes on a day out. Taking care of your sneakers, whether it be protecting or cleaning, is a must if you want them to last longer. Although it may seem like a lot of work, it actually only requires a couple of products that are quite accessible. If you’re looking for some easy tips and recommended products to keep your sneakers squeaky clean, read on for a beginner’s guide focused on more common shoe materials like leather and canvas.

SNEAKER CARE TIPS: STUFF THEM WITH SCRUNCHED UP NEWSPAPERS AFTER EACH WEAR. Newspapers are easily accessible, and they’re great at absorbing moisture. If you’ve had an unlucky day and your shoes are drenched in rain, or your feet sweat a lot, stuff those kicks with newspapers to help them dry faster

STORE THEM PROPERLY.

Just because they’re in a shoe box doesn’t mean they’re being stored well. You can add dryer sheets into the shoes to keep them fresh, or you can purchase products made specifically for reducing shoe odors.

ALTERNATE YOUR SHOES.

No matter how much you like your new sneakers, if you wear them two days or more in a row, they won’t have time to dry or rest.

STOP BEING LAZY AND STAY AWAY FROM THE WASHING MACHINE OR VISIST A SHOE CLEANING STORE. As appealing it may sound, the machine will only ruin the sneakers’ materials, and can also make the stitches come loose. So if you are lazy or want the best for your Sneakers take it to an professional.Like KMJ.

PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR LACES.

They’re just as important as the sneaker itself. You can wash them by simply soaking in a bowl of warm water mixed with washing detergent, or you could purchase a new pair with different colors and patterns to change up the look.

7 SIMPLE REASONS WHY I ENJOY WATCHING ANIME WHAT DOES ANIME MEAN TO YOU? AND WHY DO YOU WATCH IT?

FU

For me I started off with Dragon Ball Z. After that I never watched anime for more than 10+ years because I forgot about it.But Nowadays things have changed. And so have my reasons for watching it. Here are my reasons as things stand:

1. THE INSTRUMENTALS/MUSIC IS FROM ANOTHER WORLD I mean that literally since anime music is Japanese. Making it nothing like anything I’ve heard in my life.Even now as I write this I’m listening to an instrumental from Full Metal Panic. I also love anime instrumentals from: -Black Bullet. -Dragon Ball Z. -Magic Knight Rayearth. -Bleach and so many more anime shows. There’s just nothing like anime music. And that’s part of why I enjoy watching anime at all.

2. I LOVE HOW RELATABLE THE CHARACTERS ARE AND THIS ISN’T ABOUT “GENDER” EITHER. BECAUSE NONE OF THAT MATTERS. Madoka Magica is a classic example. Homura Akemi is a relatable character and I have so much in common with who she is as a person. And then you have characters like Rin Okumura. Who’s fearful of revealing his secret, has few people who accept and understand him, and of course – he’s a rebel (like me). I’ve watched films and TV shows, but none of them compare to anime for how relatable the characters are. Which is weird since anime characters are fictional and made up down to the last hairs on their head.

3. INSPIRATION The thing I love about anime is it’s NOT just pure entertainment, it’s also inspirational. It makes you want to do something in your life. It gives you reasons to become more than you are, and make something of yourself. The anime horror series (Another). Not the kind of show you think of in terms of ” inspiration”, but inspiration is everywhere you look.Another has great quotes like:

if

“Not giving up on yourself is what’s truly important. That way you don’t end up pathetic.” – Reiko Mikami The animated experience just makes this unlike anything else I’ve seen.

4. THERE’S ALWAYS SOMETHING TO LEARN Like Riki from Little Busters. One of the main characters. It’s a romance/slice of life series. And In no more than 1–3 episodes, I learnt a thing called Narcolepsy. What is it? “Narcolepsy is a sleep disorder characterized by excessive sleepiness, sleep paralysis, and hallucinations.” And the trigger? When you feel relaxed, cosy, happy, your body suddenly shutsdown and forces you to sleep. No matter WHAT time of day it is. Imagine how inconvenient this must be to live with? I never knew such a thing existed until Little Busters shown me. There’s always something to learn from anime if you pay attention.

5. THE COMEDY IS JUST TOO STUPID TO NOT BE FUNNY BLONDE GUY: “Why are you blue?” Happy: “Because I am a cat”. I laughed like a maniac when I seen this play out in Fairy Tail. You have to watch it to understand the context. But the point is – I love anime because the comedy is something else. It’s because it’s animated that it’s on a whole other level. Because anime can pull off things “realistic” TV shows can’t for obvious reasons. My Bride Is A Mermaid and The Disastrous Life Of Saiki K are good examples of comedy.

6. DEEP ANIME QUOTES AND LIFE LESSONS “It’s just pathetic to give up on something before you even give it a shot.” – Reiko Mikami I could

be here all day showing you how powerful anime quotes are.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a comedy series, or a simple “slice of life”. There’s always something to take from it. Whether it’s comical, creative, a dark truth about life, a funny fact, or something else. Anime’s quotes and life lessons are special to me. You probably have your own reasons, but for me – these 6 reasons sum up why I enjoy anime. That’s why I believe in the anime industry so much.

9 POWERFUL BENEFITS OF WATCHING ANIME THAT MAKES YOU SMARTER I believe there are benefits to watching or listening to anything. Anime or not. That matters most is if you pay attention. That’s where the secret sauce is which benefits you in some way. Here’s a quick list of 9 solid reasons anime will make you smarter, and add meaning to your life.

1. YOU LEARN UNEXPECTED THINGS If you watch Jormungand, you learn about the realistic lives of arms dealers. And how they travel the world, surround themselves with bodyguards, and end up in dangerous situations. Not to mention how they’re the reasons wars break out in the first place. If you watch School Live, you learn about mental health issues like PTSD. If you pay attention, the anime you’ve watched have taught you something valuable, useful, or interesting. Making you more knowledgeable in the process.

2. YOU LEARN ABOUT JAPANESE CULTURE This one is obvious, and while it might not always be 100% right, it mostly is accurate.Anime is made by the Japanese after all, and gives you insights into their culture. Even if a little!

3. YOU LEARN ABOUT JAPANESE FOOD THIS ONE’S A GIVEN. IT’S ANIME AFTER ALL. If you watch Ranma 1/2 you learn about a dish called: Okonomiyaki, which is made on the island of Okinawa. In the anime a character called: Ukyo runs her own Okonomiyaki restaraunt. If you watch Shakugan No Shana, you learn about a type of Japanese food called: Melon bread (Melonpan). And if you watch Pokemon or School Rumble, you’ll learn about Onigiri (a type of rice ball). This list is endless

4. YOU LEARN LIFE LESSONS Too much arrogance leads to losses eventually, and your self-esteem gets crushed in the process.

Bullying others has its implications later in life, no matter how subtle it is. Not being thankful for your parents may lead to regret one day if they die suddenly. No matter the anime, there’s always something to learn that will help you. And this is even true for comedy series which are more subtle when it comes to life lessons.

5. YOU LEARN ABOUT RELATIONSHIPS Not all anime relationships are realistic. Let’s be real about that. But when they are realistic you learn about the hardships, pains, tragedy, and even the benefits of being in a relationship. And depending on the anime, it’ll walk you through all the struggles that come with it.

6. YOU LEARN ABOUT HARD WORK, PATIENCE, AND TEAM WORK Watch Haikyuu and it’ll teach you about team work, and why it’s so crucial. Watch DBZ and you learn about hard work, setting goals, pushing yourself and practicing. Watch New Game and you learn about the struggles of pursuing what you love. And starting out as a beginner. Unlike Films, anime has life lessons of all kinds because of the amount of genres and topics it has.

8. YOU LEARN ABOUT COMMUNICATION Watch ReLife and you’ll understand this. Or even watch Kokoro Connect. Lack of communication always leads to misunderstandings and problems. When we don’t understand each other, friction is caused. Next thing you know violence, madness, pain and tragedy are soon to follow.

9. YOU LEARN HOW TO HAVE FUN Watching anime is a fun activity by itself. But when you watch: Comedy. Parodies. Or anything similar, it teaches you how to have fun, chill, relax and not take life too seriously.

“A LIFE WITHOUT FUN IS NO LIFE AT ALL.” In a nutshell: The main benefit of anime is the funt that comes when watching it !

HOW TO KEEP YOUR DOG ENRICHED AND HEALTHY IN QUARANTINE

T

FEAUTURING - FIA AND LUNA

hough your dog may be blissfully unaware of the coronavirus pandemic, pets are certainly feeling the effects of quarantine as the health crisis disrupts the daily routines of their owners. With dog parks shuttering, work from home becoming the new normal and pet parents staying home most of the day, your furry friend is likely adjusting to life in the time of COVID-19 too. But even in quarantine, it’s essential that your dog keeps active and mentally stimulated — just as he or she was pre-pandemic. Though some changes in their day-to-day are inevitable, there are ways to maintain a semblance of normality and ensure your dogs won’t be shocked when life returns to the way it was.

EXERCISE YOUR DOG THE SAME AMOUNT AS YOU WOULD PREPANDEMIC. Social distancing recommendations should not prevent owners from walking their dogs as frequently as they would before shelter-in-place orders went into effect. I don’t see any reason that the pandemic requires us to walk our dogs less. We simply need to walk our pups at quiet times on wide streets and wear a mask while doing so.

IGNORE ATTENTION-SEEKING BEHAVIOR. Even with regular exercise, your dog is still missing out on pre-quarantine activities such as visits to the dog run, puppy playdates and accompanying you on errands. In response, he or she may exhibit signs of boredom, often expressed in the form of attention-seeking behavior. Attention-seeking behavior such as “anything that has resulted in you giving [your dog] attention in the past. [He or she] might sit and stare at you, bring you a toy, paw at your leg, bark at you. Owners should wait to respond to attention-seeking behavior until the dog is calm. Providing an occupying activity — such as a toy or puzzle — while your dog is actively trying to get your attention may be interpreted as a reward. Wait until your dog is lying down calmly to initiate a play session, a training session or a walk.

TOYS AND TRAINING SESSIONS PROVIDE INDOOR ENRICHMENT. Once your dog has settled down, provide him or her with an engaging toy. “Dogs love and need to chew, so I recommend getting a wide variety of long-lasting animal chews and stuff-able toys.” In addition, take advantage of quarantine to teach your dog new skills and brush up on basic obedience. Practicing basic manners like sit, down and stand can be supplemented by loads of fun tricks. The only limitation is your creativity

BE SURE TO LEAVE YOUR DOG ALONE FOR PERIODS OF TIME EACH DAY. Dogs love spending unlimited time with their owners in quarantine, but it’s still important to maintain alone time. One of the things people need to be most concerned with during this time is the risk of dogs developing separation issues. To prevent separation-related issues once life returns to normal, leave your dog alone regularly, either by putting him or her in a separate room (with engaging toys) or by leaving the house entirely to a take a walk or run errands.

HOW TO SET UP AND DECORATE A SMALL HOME OFFICE, ACCORDING TO INTERIOR DESIGNERS If you are fortunate enough to be working from home amidst the coronavirus pandemic, chances are you’re getting creative with your home office set-up. With less open space than a traditional office — as well as distracting temptations including a TV, comfy bed and unlimited snacks — your home may be hindering your productivity. Thankfully, it’s entirely feasible to establish and differentiate office from living space, no matter if you live in a studio or classic eight apartment. In fact, a work space can take up as little as 12 square feet, according to Heia Studio Co-Founder Colin Clark.

SET BOUNDARIES. As a general rule, delineating your living from your work space will help get your mind in “office mode” and increase productivity. Is to separate your home — even if it’s a one-room studio apartment — into different zones. “One for work, one for sleep, one for eating,”. “Each of these areas should feel as physically separate as possible and you should try not to use these zones beyond their intended purposes.”

OPTIMIZE ERGONOMICS. To create an ideal working posture, your monitor or laptop screen should sit at about eye level (stack books underneath your computer for a quick fix). Position your keyboard and mouse so that your shoulders and arms are relaxed. Clark recommends adjusting your chair height so that you can reach your mouse with your arms at a 90 degree angle or greater. Your shoulders should be relaxed, not bunched around your ears, and your feet should be firmly planted on the ground. Establish a desk.surfaces already in your house can double as work spaces.Try using a kitchen or dining table as opposed to a coffee table, which sits lower to the ground and is generally situated in TV-watching and relaxing territory.

JUST ADD PLANTS AND LIGHT. “Refining the details of your workplace enriches your experience and can inspire you to do good work,” Clark posits, noting that while ergonomics are important, they “don’t necessarily produce something beautiful or exciting.”plants “will eventually become your all-time favorite co-workers.” The benefits of leafy greens as decoration are well documented, ranging from improved concentration to reduced stress to cleaner air. Your ideal houseplant will vary depending on whether you’re placing it in direct or indirect sun, but generally, put low-maintenance options.

Do you. At the end of the day, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution for the perfect work space. It all comes down to personal routine and preference — while some should avoid working in the bedroom due to the temptation to nap, some people are “very productive on the sofa or in their beds, with the TV playing in the background.” “The best place for everyone is different" so choose what fits you best.

NGO HIGHLIGHT @AATMOUTSARGA Aatmoutsarga, a leading non profitable organization, established in 2020 AD by the bunch of innovative youth, is currently working for the welfare of the street and helpless animals throughout the nation. Since establishment, it has been timely and consistently offering end-to-end services to all strayed, homeless and helpless animals by being tied up with "Animals Welfare and Protection Act - 2011 ".

THE STORY OF DODO. learning to stand in somebody else's shoes, to see through their eyes, that's how peace begins. Its up to us, to make that happen. “ Empathy is a quality of character that can change the world” is quoted by Barack Obama which can be compared well with the story of DODO. DODO was a stray dog first seen in Chyasal, Patan by animal lover and kind soul Ms Rajini . When she saw DODO, he looked very skinny and was in a very poor condition. She couldn’t take her eyes off him and wanted to get help for him. She instantly started looking for organization which could provide him shelter or take it for adoption. DODO is a dog with special needs. He has problem on his legs which makes him hard to walk and hunt for food. Rajini ji being a good soul contacted our very dedicate member of AATMOUTSARGA – Shrusha Shrestha. As they say “Animal lover are special kind of Human breed”. Our member Shrusha ji is one of those kind human being who has always been helping street animals, they started looking for DODO continuously for three days near , everywhere in Patan. They went around more than 100 small gallis and finally found him at the corners, infested and fearful. Shrusha brought DODO home, provided medication, vaccinated and gave him proper care. “Proper Care and Love heals every wound.” Slowly and steadily after getting the proper care and safe home, DODO started to look healthier and in a better condition. We are so happy to see him happier, playful and most importantly himself. The changes we see in DODO are very inspiring. We are glad to have someone like Shrusha ji in our organisation. We really do need people like her. She accepted Dodo as her own and we are so proud to be part of this special story. condition. She couldn’t take her eyes off him and wanted to get help for him.
