On December 2, 2022, Rebekah Aycock's WGSS 333 students participated in a zine-making workshop hosted by the Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity at the University of Kansas.
WGSS 333: THE POLITICS

OF PHYSICAL APPEARANCE
engages students in the interdisciplinary analysis of standards of physical attractiveness and cultural conceptions of women's bodies. The class includes an exploration of how these standards change across time and cultural groups as well as of the impact of these standards on women as individuals and on social and political outcomes.
This collaborative zine project is a compilation of individual pages created by students reflecting on the themes of WGSS 333.
