Why does the lift stop sometimes?
For us, safety is a top priority. In order for people to get on and off safely, on some occasions the Kaiserlift will stop for a short time. However, after a few seconds the journey will continue. Should the lift stop for longer, please remain calm and follow the tannoy announcements.
Is is possible for the lift to go slower during boarding and for getting out?
Yes. Lift staff will provide information before you board. The lift speed will be reduced. To inform staff that assistance is required to get out, you can use the yellow or red marker to highlight your chair.
Nature conservation area celebrates its anniversary
60 years ago, 1963 to be precise, the Kaisergebirge were conservation protected. At that time measures were put in place to protect rare animal species, with measures were put in place to preserve the unique and varied natural surroundings; these measures are still in place today. So this summer season everything is very much influenced by this celebration - 60 years of the Kaisergebirge nature conservation area. Let’s take care of animals and nature together!

Places of energy and consciousness

Himmelschauen
"Sky-gazing" – The Gamskogel is a magical place to observe the sky and the clouds. The spiral-shaped larch wood bench makes it possible to gaze into all directions, or to just take a seat in the inner section – depending on the sunshine and how your mood takes you.
