Message from the President:
For NoslerCustom Division Manager, Mike Lake, it’s the 26 Nosler. Mike designed and developed the 26 Nosler to fill the need for a low recoil cartridge that is fully capable of exceeding the velocity standard set by the old 264 Win. Mag.

We are often asked which rifles, calibers, and bullets are our all-time favorites. Here are some brief answers as given by my senior management staff: For my son, John (VP-General Manager), it is the 35 Whelen. Whether he is tippingover elk at the famous Deseret in Utah, Whitetail Deer in Central Texas, or a Sable at 300 yards in Zimbabwe, the stopping power of the old 35 Whelen combined with our 225 grain AccuBond® is nothing short of amazing. For dangerous game, John prefers his prototype NoslerCustom Rifle in 416 Rigby. This rifle is an excellent performer when loaded with either 400 grain Nosler Partitions or Nosler Solids. Our Safari ammunition adapts to most hunting situations, as both bullets shoot very close to the same point of impact at 100 yards The 325 WSM and the 416 Rem. Mag. are the clear favorites of Mark Roberts, our VP-Chief Financial Officer. Over the years, Mark has taken some fine animals and made some spectacular shots with his favorite rifle and ammo combinations. It’s all about confidence. Our Plant Manager, Jeff Bailey, has taken game in the U.S. and Africa with his NoslerCustom Rifle, chambered for the popular 300 WSM cartridge. For dangerous game, it’s the 416 Rigby, loaded with 400 grain Nosler Partitions that put the stop on both Cape Buffalo and Hippo. For daughter, Jill Bailey (Corporate Services Manager), it is her Model 48 in 260 Remington loaded with Nosler Trophy Grade ammunition and 130 grain AccuBond bullets. From Hungarian Roe Deer to Central Texas Whitetails, Jill has stacked them-up with the 260 Rem. For African plains game and local elk, Jill switches to her 280 Ackley Improved, loaded with Nosler Trophy Grade ammunition and 140 grain AccuBonds.

Our Public Relations Manager, Zach Waterman, favors the 338 Win. Mag. Confidence is a major factor in all types of hunting. When loaded with Nosler Trophy Grade ammunition and the 250 grain AccuBond bullet, Zach has made some amazing shots. For dangerous game, Zach likes his 416 Rigby, loaded with Nosler Safari ammunition. Depending on the situation, either the 400 grain Nosler Partition or Nosler Solid are ready for the task. While it is always tough to choose just one, the 338-06 is a current favorite of Marketing Manager, Mason Payer. 225 grain AccuBond® bullets handloaded in Nosler Brass provide plenty of thump for any North American game in a soft-shooting and smooth feeding cartridge. For me, the answer is easy. If I could only have one rifle, it would be my Model 48 300 WSM (serial number 0001). When loaded with 180 gr. E-Tip’s (our all-gilding metal bullets), this eight year old rifle is amazing. This past August, the combination accounted for a Sable, Waterbuck, Kudu, and a Lion while on Safari in Zimbabwe. For heavy, dangerous game, our new prototype NoslerCustom Rifle in 458 Lott is going to be my favorite. Either the 500 grain Nosler Partition or the 500 grain Nosler Solid over our new Safari line of ammunition are more than adequate for the largest game on earth.

INTRODUCING A NEW RIFLE CARTRIDGE
THE 26 NOSLER® “Like many shooting enthusiasts, the Nosler family has always dreamed of introducing a new rifle cartridge to the industry; that time is finally here with the arrival of the 26 Nosler®. The goal of the new 26 Nosler® cartridge was to introduce something to the shooting sports industry that took full advantage of new technology available to shooters including the advance of optics, reticle systems and of course high Ballistic Coefficient (B.C.) bullets such as the AccuBond® Long Range line. We now have a cartridge that pushes old boundaries to new limits. The 26 Nosler® cartridge was designed to take advantage of the inherently accurate and high B.C. 6.5mm (.264) caliber bullets, and is capable of shooting the 129gr Nosler® AccuBond® Long Range (ABLR) and 130gr AccuBond® bullets at a blazing 3400 fps out of the muzzle. Zeroed at 350 yards, the 26 Nosler® has a Point Blank Range of 0-415 yards. Loaded with the 129gr ABLR, the 26 Nosler® retains as much velocity at 400 yards as the 260 Remington® produces at the muzzle.
• The 26 Nosler is a non-belted, 6.5mm (.264 caliber) centerfire rifle cartridge. • The 26 Nosler is capable of firing a 129gr AccuBond®-LR bullet at a Muzzle Velocity of 3400 fps. • Designed with a maximum C.O.A.L. of 3.340”, the 26 Nosler cartridge functions in a standard (30-06 Spfd.) length action. • With a useable case capacity of 93 grains of water, the 26 Nosler out-performs the 264 Win Mag by over 200fps with a 130gr bullet.

The 26 Nosler® case is non-belted, thus headspaced off of the shoulder to further enhance accuracy. The “26” also utilizes a standard (30-06) length action meaning shorter bolt-throw and lighter weight than magnum length actions. “I really feel the 26 Nosler® has great value amongst the large family of SAAMI® cartridges. With minimal recoil, tremendous velocity, energy and the ability to point and shoot at the intended target up to a quarter mile away, this is the quintessential deer, antelope and long-range target cartridge available on the market today.” Bob Nosler, CEO/President Nosler, Inc.

PARTITION The Benchmark for Hunting Bullets Since 1948
The Nosler® Partition® bullet is the cornerstone upon which the entire company was founded on in 1948 and built upon since. It is the bullet that brought hunters from the Dark Ages of thin-jacketed, cup and draw style bullets and into the modern age with a complex jacket design that makes use of two lead cores, separated by a monolithic partition. The front lead core is designed to expand and transfer massive shock and energy while the partition houses the rear lead core to maximize weight retention. The Nosler® Partition® delivers bone-crushing energy, a massive wound channel, and deep penetration. For over 65 years, the Nosler® Partition® has been the benchmark bullet by which all other modern hunting bullets are compared to. So, the next time you reach for a box of bullets, ask yourself, “Is it as good as a Partition?”
Zach Waterman Cape Buffalo Zimbabwe 416 Rigby - 400g r. Partition®
For my Cape buffa lo hunt in Zimbabwe last August, I used a 41 6 Rigby loaded up front with 400gr Partitions. We stalked the 300strong herd for nearly two hour s when the massive 40” bull we were looking for finally presented a shot. I took aim and sent th e 400gr Partition in to the bull where he drop ped in his tracks. He made an effort to get back up when the cross hairs settled on his exposed neck and a second Parti tion ended the hunt. Upon clo ser inspection, we fou nd that the second Partitio n (shown in this ph oto) went through the base of his left horn, into his neck, breaking the spine and coming to rest under the hide on the opposit e side. Before the hu nt, our Professional Hunters didn’t believe soft po ints were effective on Ca pe buffalo and prefe rred Solids. After the hu nt, our seasoned PH became the world’s biggest Partition fan!

Is it as good as a Partition?
This is a question bullet manufacturers have asked themselves for over 65 years. The Nosler Partition is still the benchmark by which all modern bullets are measured. So, the next time you reach for a box of bullets, ask yourself, “Is it as good as a Partition?”

1 Nosler Engineering: Nosler’s special lead-alloy, dual-core provides superior mushrooming characteristics at virtually all impact velocities. 2 Fully Tapered Copper-Alloy Jacket: Ruptures instantly at the thin jacket mouth, yet the gradual thickening along the bullet’s axis controls expansion and curls the jacket uniformly outward at high and low velocities. 3 Nosler’s Integral Partition: Supports the expanded mushroom and retains the rear lead-alloy core. The enclosed rear core retains more than two-thirds of the original bullet weight for deep penetration. 4 Dual-Core Construction: Every Partition® bullet in the Nosler® line delivers optimum length, weight and ogive design for maximum in-flight and terminal performance. 5 Special Crimp Locks: Adds strength to resist deformation under the pressure of heavy magnums.

The AccuBond® -Long Range (LR)
bullet line was developed in response to the escalating demand from long-range hunters who were asking for a hunting bullet that could keep up with today’s level of high-grade optics and ultra-high velocity cartridges in order to stretch practical shooting yardages past 1,000 yards; yet still perform on big-game animals. In order to accommodate these extreme parameters, the AccuBond® -LR bullet was designed to have a minimum impact velocity of 1300fps in order to reliably expand or mushroom at those much longer distances, compared to the 1800fps minimum impact velocity of all other Nosler® hunting bullets. Now what about close range performance? Because the lead core is bonded to the copper jacket, the AccuBond®-LR bullet will hold up
to extreme velocities. To further assist performance at such a wide range of impact velocities, the copper jacket is tapered, meaning it is thin at the nose, becoming much thicker towards the boat-tail base. The final challenge was to give this bullet the highest Ballistic Coefficient in its class while still stabilizing in a standard twist barrel-which we did. Due to Nosler’s unique manufacturing capabilities, we were able to produce a bonded-core, hunting bullet that has an impact velocity range of 1300-3400fps and the highest Ballistic Coefficient offered in production bullets today.

HUNTING • Defining Silver Polymer Tip
COMBINED TECHNOLOGY ® ®
What are the benefits of Lubalox®?
The primary benefit of Lubalox is reduced barrel fouling. The process creates a surface on the bullet jacket, which increases the number of shots possible between cleanings. Unlike moly-coated bullets, Lubalox-coated bullets leave the barrel residue-free and do not require barrel “seasoning”. Additionally, unlike uncoated bullets that tarnish over time, Lubalox protects the surface of the bullet jacket, keeping it looking like new.
Will Lubalox® harm the gun barrel?
Lubalox does not harm the barrel. In fact, testing shows that the coating often reduces barrel fouling. Lubalox® coating is not a Moly coating.
CT®, Combined Technology and Ballistic Silvertip® are joint-registered trademarks of Nosler, Inc. and Olin- Winchester®. Winchester®, Supreme™, and Lubalox® are registered trademarks of Olin-Winchester®.

• Legendary Ballistic Tip® Performance
Lubalox® is the trade name Winchester uses to describe a black oxide process. It is a very thin oxide bullet coating, often compared to the bluing on a steel firearm.
1 Polymer Silvertip: Polymer Silvertip prevents deformation in the magazine. 2 Ultra-Thin Jacket Mouth: Assures violent expansion at either end of the velocity scale. 3 Lubalox ®Exterior Coating: Reduces fouling, pressure and friction between bullet and bore; provides longer barrel life, easier cleaning and enhanced accuracy. 4 Varmint Jacket Wall Design: The uniform, gradual thickening at the bullet’s mid-section is designed to keep the Ballistic Tip® Varmint together until impact – at any velocity.

Nosler® Ballistic Tip® Varmint bullets thrive on ultra-high velocity loads yet will go the distance with spectacular results all the way down to the lowest practical velocity levels. This is made possible by the proprietary manufacturing process that allows for several key benefits for varmint shooters to take advantage of. First, the BT Varmint has a solid, boat-tail base for increased ballistic coefficient and ease of reloading. Second, it is constructed with thick jacket walls, eliminating the chance of air solubility at extreme velocities. Third, the jacket thins at the nose of the bullet which combined with the polymer tip creates rapid and explosive expansion. Fast or slow, near or far, no matter what rifle /cartridge combination you’re shooting or what varmint you’re shooting at, Nosler® Ballistic Tip® Varmint delivers match-grade accuracy with all the performance characteristics serious varminters are looking for.

LONG-RANGE BALLISTICS, STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY, AND EXPLOSIVE EXPANSION Varmint hunters have everything to gain by shooting Nosler’s Ballistic Tip Lead-Free bullets. The BTLF bullets contain a “Fragmenting Copper Core” that rapidly expands into tiny bits at velocities down to 1,600 feet per second. Accuracy is also right up there with regular lead-core Ballistic Tips. The 35-grain BTLF bullets loaded in Nosler’s Trophy Grade™ Varmint .22-250 ammunition averaged .95 inches for three, five-shot groups at 100 yards and .81 inches with Trophy Grade™ Varmint .223 Remington loads. I’ve made the switch, and I’m sticking to it.
Gel block test illustrates how the Ballistic Tip® Lead Free patented fragmenting copper core technology results in complete fragmentation within the first 2 inches of penetration.

• 95% Weight Retention Nosler’s E-Tip® bullet has quickly become one of the favorite hunting bullets of Nosler® employees, and for good reason. With Nosler’s exclusive E2 Cavity™ [Energy Expansion Cavity™] that allows for immediate expansion at impact velocities as low as 1800fps, yet maintains 95% weight retention at unlimited impact velocities for maximum penetration. These benefits translate to a hunting bullet with rapid, yet controlled, four-leaf expansion at a wide range of velocities for maximum energy transfer along with the added benefit of high weight retention for deep, destructive wound channels. “We took our 60+ years of bullet manufacturing experience and the depth of our knowledge into the design of this bullet. Our goal was to make a lead-free projectile that expanded like a lead-core bullet yet maintained nearly 100% weight retention for maximum penetration. The successful result is the Nosler E-Tip® bullet.”

® Cartridge
“Build the perfect load” has long been the motto of handloaders loyal to Nosler brand bullets–and was the sole reason we developed Nosler® cartridge brass. Introduced in 2005, the Nosler® cartridge brass line is ready to load. Manufactured with the traditional Nosler philosophy of uncompromising attention to detail, Nosler® cartridge brass is created to exact dimensional standards and tolerances, using quality materials for maximum accuracy and consistency potential while extending case life. Nosler® brass also undergoes the rigorous quality control that premium Nosler bullets have experienced for over 60 years. Each piece of brass is completely prepped and ready to load. The case mouths have been chamfered and deburred. The flash holes are deburred and then checked for proper alignment. Each piece of brass is visually inspected at the factory and sealed in the box until you open them. Together, Nosler bullets and brass are the ingredients for the perfect load.

reloading guide A Great Read and Informative Reference Tool
Each cartridge section begins with an introduction by a different well-known writer or industry name. Nosler® continues to incorporate “Comments From the Lab” for many cartridges, a highly informative section that helps reloaders save time and money at the reloading bench. These pages are written by the Nosler® ballistics team and provide valuable insight and advice for working up accurate, effective loads.
Nosler Ballistics App Nosler Ballistics is a trajectory calculator and range log for Apple and Android devices. This application calculates trajectory, windage, velocity, energy, and bullet flight time for any valid range, and can compensate for atmospheric conditions such as temperature, barometric pressure, humidity, and altitude (it can also accept density of air or density altitude input).
Online Community Become a Fan On Nosler’s Facebook page and get up-to-date information.
New and Expanded Cartridge Load Data Load data for each cartridge is presented in a graphic format, giving the reader a quick comparison of load velocities for each bullet weight. Nosler’s system uses simple, easy-to-read bar graphs to show velocity variation between powders, making powder selection faster and simpler than relying on data alone. Each cartridge’s data entry shows information for starting, intermediate and maximum loads for each powder listed.

Like many sportsmen, I was introduced to the outdoors early in life. At the age of nine, I began running my own trapline. As adults, my wife and I lived a subsistence lifestyle in Alaska. I’ve been blessed to travel to more than 30 countries. Hunting is not only a passion, it’s how I make a living. Over the past 15 years, I’ve hosted hundreds of television episodes for leading networks, penned over a dozen books and more than 1,500 magazine articles on hunting and fishing. Each year, I deliver over 50 seminars around the country. Today my family–wife and two sons–live in western Oregon, and just like you, enjoy spending as much time in the outdoors as possible.

I grew up hunting on a family farm in central Wisconsin. Most of my free time was spent enjoying the outdoors which included hunting. I had dreams of hunting big game around the world and someday sharing my adventures with others. I worked hard for 22 years to fund my habit for big game hunting and competitive shooting. I made contacts and friends around the world, and decided to follow my lifelong dream of sharing my love and knowledge of hunting and shooting with others while getting them into the field. I am now President of Kromka Sporting Adventures LLC.( KSA) and we book and host hunting trips in North America, Europe, Africa, and Canada. It’s an honor to be a Nosler Pro-Staff member. Their rifles and ammunition are a deadly combination as many of my clients around the world can attest to. John Nosler revolutionized the industry with the Partition bullet, and did it again with the Ballistic Tip and AccuBond bullets. My clients LOVE Nosler products, I do, and so will you!

Pro Staff Like most of us I started hunting at a young age with my family. As I grew older, I wanted to turn my passion for hunting into my career. I started out guiding friends on Waterfowl hunts and then soon I landed my first real job in the outdoors as an assistant guide in Colorado hunting Mountain Lions. After a few more years of experience, along with a partner I started a Hunting Consulting agency. Through this, I got to host trips and Guide hunters around the world. Over a decade ago I met a guy named Jim Shockey and he trusted me to book his first African Safari. Over the years, this relationship grew and grew and a few years back, we came up with the idea to show the world what really goes down on these crazy trips we go on. That is when “Jim Shockey’s The Professionals” was born.

Team 144 was formed by three local Oregon guys that came together with a shared passion for firearms. After becoming best friends and shooting together on a regular basis, they began competing in long range tactical matches, USPSA, and 3-Gun competitions. Soon after, they were granted sponsorships by Nosler, Leupold, AXTS, and Mascot clothing. The name ”Team 144” comes from Psalm 144 which the team believed was very appropriate. Piet, Landon, and Ryan are all in Law Enforcement and enjoy spending time on the range and teaching others who share their passion for this sport.

For us, excellence is not negotiable. We’ll never sacrifice quality for cost. We don’t cater to every trend and we aren’t everything to everyone. We know who we are and being true to yourself allows you to become the best at what you do. For us, that’s building the most innovative, most accurate—and most effective—bullets and ammunition in the industry. By a longshot. Our products lead the pack, because they’re built with equal parts ingenuity and integrity, passion and precision, consistency and confidence. The truth is, we owe it to you. Trophies, victories, lives—there’s too much at stake for second thoughts or second chances. You won’t settle, and neither will we.
