This cartridge with the “Gold” projectile has a special acrylic/brass coating to reduce lead wear inside the barrel. The extremely heavy projectile weighing 39 g (= 600 gr) transfers correspondingly high energy to the target. An extremely high hit accuracy up to 100 m is achieved by the twist stabilisation from riﬂed shotgun barrels. When used in smooth barrels, this should be restricted for safety reasons to cylinder bores. This Magnum cartridge may only be used in shotguns with 76 mm ﬁring chambers.

The “Bronze” projectile has a lower weight. “MP” (= multiple purpose) indicates the versatility of this cartridge, i.e. it is suitable both for smooth and rifled shotgun barrels.
