Super Local Food - fully biological! Also during vacation?
Gardening is back in fashion. Whether on the window sill, balcony, mini-garden next to the townhouse or raised bed in the own garden. Space for self-bred is found almost everywhere - even on a flat roof over urban canyons. It is foreseeable that this trend towards hyper- or super-local food is not just a short-term trend, because it is healthy. In the absence, of course, you need someone to water the plants. Seems to be no problem; because this "auxiliary power" will be allowed to taste and eat here something, latest at the time of maturity, and they soon realizing that "your" own fruits and vegetables taste better than those from a plastic container.
Constant self-caterers will miss their garden or their bed during leave. But that must not be; the hotel "Casa MĂŁe" in the south of Portugal has a farm with a terraced garden. Sustainability, perm culture and biodynamic agriculture are very important for the hotel.
Breakfast eggs come from chickens fed with green cabbage! And outside of the farm, the best winemakers of the country have their wines. The restaurant "Orta" serves healthy, fresh and sunny flavors, raw food and an open-air BBQ. This makes the new "Casa MĂŁe" a culinary experience, even in winter.
And, most likely, the self-supporting gardeners who stay there will find some inspirations and knowledge for home, that they can "harvest" here.
