Kulturprojekte Berlin

Kulturprojekte Berlin is a company (GmbH) owned by the federal state of Berlin. We operate on a not-for-profit basis and have complete autonomy over the content of our projects. Our key goal is to further strengthen and promote Berlin culture and to foster deeper linkages among the city’s various cultural actors. We receive basic institutional backing from the federal state of Berlin and finance our projects by attracting and acquiring additional financial support and third-party funds. We are experts in a wide array of culture-related spheres, including the conception and realisation of large-scale open-air events, historical exhibitions and cultural campaigns. We also provide consulting services to creatives and culture workers and develop formats that foster overall cultural participation and communication. Our projects thrive on active participation and dynamic networks. For the past 15 years, we’ve cooperated with almost all of Berlin’s museums, theatres and memorial sites. We also continue to work closely together with diverse educational, political and science-oriented institutions and associations as well as with the independent scene and – above all – the people of Berlin.
