MELYN YAKLIN

A hardworking people person with a can-do attitude, Melyn Yaklin is a licensed agent who welcomes clients looking to turn real estate dreams into reality in and around Central Texas’s New Braunfels area. She provides expert guidance for buyers and sellers at all levels with a strong focus on developments and luxury property. Melyn strives to go above and beyond, streamlining as much of the process as possible— from preparing homes for the market, and recommending service providers to all of the details necessary for achieving successful transactions. She brings patience, expertise, and empathy to every new opportunity—always mindful that real estate is a highly emotional decision for most people.

Born and raised in Gonzales and Kingsville, Texas, Melyn’s been immersed in the real estate world from a young age. Her mom was a real estate agent and her dad worked in banking. She graduated from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in leadership and married her high school sweetheart, a member of the U.S. Marine Corp. As a result, Melyn has moved many times for her husband’s military career— an experience she credits with giving her a greater appreciation for the relocation process, as well as people’s unique stories. She loves working in real estate because it gives her a chance to be part of new beginnings for the individuals and families she serves—a thrill that simply never gets old.
