HOBBIES

As urban designers, we must understand the problems and aspects of a wide range of projects related to various issues. Bearing in mind that urban design is a broad and interdisciplinary profession, I try to show in my portfolio the diversity of issues, problems, approach and solutions of the projects that I have taken part. They are divided into different scale extents considering various morphological elements of the city, sectors and professional disciplines. In each of them my duties and problems faced by me and the project team are defined.

To whom it may concern:

Warsaw, 29th November 2016

I am glad to recommend Maria Kupryjaniuk who has been working in BAAU Architecture Urban Planning from 03.2014 to 12.2014. She has great organization and interpersonal skills. She is a quick learner and has shown the ability to digest large volumes of information. She is hard-working, reliable and extremely dedicated to her work. She has excellent skills with AutoCAD, ArcGis, Ewmapa and other software we use on a daily basis. Among others, she has been working in the following projects: • • • •

Local Plan of Spatial Development in Siedlce - Osiedle Ułanów Studium uwarunkowań i kierunków zagospodarowania przestrzennego – Siedlce Local Plan of Spatial Development In area of streets Okrężna, Wintera and Dzieci Zamojszczyzny in Siedlce Local Plan of Spatial Development covering the area between the streets: Garwolińska, Unitów Podlaskich, Niepodległości and Romanówka in Siedlce

I consider her to be a valuable member of the team, who consistently achieves good results and delivers all expectations. I recommend Maria for any work or position she applies for. Yours faithfully,

Letters of reference - universities Univerza v Ljubljani

Fakulteta za gradbeništvo in geodezijo

Ljubljana, 21. 12. 2016 To whom be concerned, hereby I send you a reference letter for Maria Kupryjaniuk. I have known Maria for six months as her professor during her Erasmus Student Exchange Programme at the University of Ljubljana in 2014 where she studied at the Faculty of Civil and Geodetic Engineering on the study program Spatial Planning. Maria has taken the following courses I taught:  PROJECT TASK WITH SEMINAR (NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL LEVELS). The course is related to social, political and cultural issues of spatial and urban planning. The study puts emphasis on the integral approach to the spatial design, the planning and to the environment management.  METHODOLOGY OF SPATIAL PLANNING WITH SEMINAR (MUNICIPAL AND REGIONAL LEVELS) During the course theoretical approaches to spatial problems were discussed. The study is connected to the urban and landscape design, and spatial planning. The study program, which Maria has taken part in, qualifies students for spatial planners – generalists with balanced knowledge and skills from the areas of spatial planning, environment protection, geoinformation, urban and regional geography, spatial legislation, spatial economy, spatial sociology, infrastructural systems and other spatial sciences. Maria has achieved excellent results in these courses – passed all proposed tests, practical works and showed knowledge of both practical and theoretical material. She was actively participating in the lectures and she showed great interest in the subject, willingness and ability to study material beyond limits of the courses. Maria took part in an international student workshop “Development potential of rural areas and the complete renovation of the village” in Istria where she presented her skills to define, research, understand and creatively solve problems, principles and theories. She also has abilities to deal with conflicts and work in a team, which came to be important during the workshop. Based on my professional experience, I evaluate Maria as an intelligent, respectful, purposeful and initiative person and recommend her for any position she applies for. Please contact me if you need any further information.

Yours sincerely,

Assist. Prof. Alma Zavodnik Lamovšek
