As a fourth year student, Architecture for me is the way of expressing ones ideas, emotions, amd imagination into real world. Architecture is creating a pure balance between human life and nature. It is to fulll the dreams of people as well as ours by incorporating and implementing our ideas which contributes to our society that enhances the quality of lliving. I would like to engage in this never-ending process of Architecture and explore it in best way possible.

Project Introduction The Project is about designing a creshe which refer to day care centre. An organization of adults who take care of children in place of their parents.
Location The Site is located at Ganpat University Campus, Opp. New MBA and Architecture Building, Kherva, Mehsana.
Site Features & Site Analysis - Trees which are lightly shaded / less dense - Paver blocks / Walking path - Institutional Buildings - Parking Space / Area - One side of the site consisted of trees arranged in linear form and the other part of the site consists of cluster of trees. - Between the two sides of site is a Straight Open Space / Linear Open Space.
Climate - Avg. maximum temperature: 42 degree - Avg. minimum temperature: 13 degree - Avg. humidity: 28%
Topography -The Surface of the site is flat and does not contain hill / valley or difference in levels. -No Contours.
Concept We were given a challenging task of designing a baby care centre i.e. A Creche for children of age between 2 to 7 years. Thinking as a child while designing was my primary concept. The restless and playful behaviour of the kids was something that inspired me. The curiousness in a kid is something that is very evident. The concept of the building was to design playful spaces which are sort of surprising that increases the curiosity of the kids there in. To achieve this, a sort of complexity was imparted in the design which was further supported by angled walls used in the building. The informal spaces formed which are enclosed by angled walls was sort of engaging and adaptable by the kids.

Project Introduction Meditation and Yoga Centre was spiritual and skill development Centre. For me it was a project which shows "Pause from Living". The contoured site located along the divine Saraswati River on the outskirts of Siddhpur having a temple nearby was of great importance and prominence. The main and dominating functions of the program, the Yoga Hall and Meditation Hall was placed parallel to the Saraswati River oriented in such a way that the openings faces towards the river and the skyline of the Siddhpur city, inviting the people to visit and take a break from their busy life.
Concept The functions are arranged in accordance with a axis where the building blocks are placed along the axis. The series of transitional spaces are formed between the building blocks which enriches the functionality of the project and maintain a constant psychological connection with the Saraswati River. Wood and Stone were the primary materials used in the building which helped in establishing spaces where one can involve and establish spiritual contact with oneself. The calming influence of the nature and the Saraswati River enables individual to take a retreat into themselves.

Legends:Option-1 Functions are arranged along a central axis where buffer spaces are formed for individual functions.
Option-2 The informal gathering spaces are formed due to the tilting of some functional blocks.
Option-4 All the functions are kept at some specific angle which creates a strong central axis where the functions are getting concentrated at central point.
Option-7 The functional blocks are arranged in such a way that a series of transitional spaces of different scales are formed.

Project Introduction The programme and intent of this studio was to design Community Housing for different artisans. Located in outskirts of Ahmedabad nearby Adalaj Cross Roads the site was rich in context as it offers a lake in front, temples as well as other residential zones.
Concept The idea of understanding community housing requires concerns towards people centric approach through experience of various architectural types and typological varieties of community spaces. It includes houses, working spaces, public spaces, shared and serves spaces etc. The programme comprise various layers of housing such as understanding of land, people and their activity mapping, requirement of daily routine, architectural elements associated with various activities and physical as well metaphysical spaces etc. The work and live model of built spaces gives more opportunity to artisans to express their wisdom. Based on concerns and opportunities : Focus was on “Designing of work-live residential spaces for artisans and to understand the concept of "Living Together".

Design Process
Option-02 Option-01 The units are arranged in such a way that linear streets are formed which sums up and forms a greater community space of larger scale which result in providing a better working space.
The units are arranged in such a way that cluster of 4 units are formed with their individual common spaces in addition to the formation of linear street.
Final Conceptual Layout The units are arranged in such a way that cluster of 3 units is formed which further groups up with another cluster and forms a staggered central open space which connects diagonal spaces visually as well as physicallly.
Option-03 The units are arranged in such a way that cluster of 2 units and 4 units are formed which opens up on street. The individual cluster itself have its small common spaces in addition to the linear streets formed.
Option-04 The units are arranged in such a way that each cluster gets a common confined space in their front yard which are used as a community gathering.

Project Introduction The programme and intent of this studio was to design a Museum which showcases different categories of Furniture through designed exhibition spaces.
Concept The primary decision taken while designing was to free up the floors structurally by providing peripheral heavy columns that encloses the functional spaces, covered with a waffled slab. The secondary decision taken while designing was to segregate primary and secondary functions at floor levels. A variable yet unifying exhibition spaces are formed by placing "Popping out Pockets" to place exhibits there in. The central court enchasing the central R.C.C. staircase leads the visitors to the main exhibition space with a transitional journey where one can appreciate the Brick and R.C.C. structure. The bridge connecting the two exhibition spaces at first floor level gives visitors a pause with a framed view to the lush green trees at the back and a busy road at the front. The unordered placement of skylights which emphasises the exhibit by spotting natural light on it, makes the space interesting along with the display pockets.

The site is of great importance as it is located on S.G. Highway which is one of the fast growing and developing road and area in Ahmedabad. It is located behind a socially prominent building in the surrounding context, named Rajpath Club. The site is visually appreciated through three sides as it is located at a corner that is visually prominent at the node. The context is less dense giving the site and people a proper breathing environment.

A st rong char act er is formed with randomness in it. The Deformation of the geometry gives it a strong visual character.
A confined central open space is formed by enclosing it with the functional block having a form which converges to the center.
The uplifted mass being the main function giving it a prominent importance which is enclosed by secondary functions at lower level.
Formation of a confined space compilation different forms which is given importance with semi-open spaces. The form converges at the centre which exists at both lower and upper levels.
