DONOR IMPACT
Inspiring imaginations, engaging minds and uniting our community through music takes more than a conductor and musicians —
It takes YOU! Together, we expand the idea of what music is, what it can be and how it can make an impact — often in unexpected ways.
“My life and the lives of those in this community have been enhanced because of the KWS’ live performances.” — W. Violet Sykes
Join the KWS’ tradition of pushing boundaries, exploring new ways to help build community, and welcoming and cultivating world-class talent.
“He practices every day and plays for fun. Music helps him to concentrate and focus in his daily activities.” — Parent of a Bridge to
Make a donation today to support: • Over 222 live performances to an audience of over 90,000 people • Subsidized music lessons for low income families through Bridge To Music • Classroom visits and education concerts to almost 12,000 elementary students annually • The nationally renowned Youth Orchestra Program for over 150 participants ages 6–22 • Free outreach concerts in the community • Specialized programming for seniors at Winston Park & Clair Hills retirement homes through the Health & Wellness Program
Music participant
“This is such a valuable program. I am at a school with many low income and refugee students who have never been to a symphony or a concert hall. Being able to offer them the chance to see and hear musicians in this way is so enriching.” — Participating Teacher in the 2016/17 School Concert Program
“I like to be here. It helps me focus and it makes me smile. I appreciate being here because I don’t get bullied.” — Logan, Age 9, Youth Orchestra
“I loved this so much I’m not going to want to go to sleep tonight so that I can keep remembering how wonderful it was!” — Winston Park Health
& Wellness Participant

“Our Symphony is reaching out to the community, working with innovators, to do very fascinating things. Investing in the KWS is the best way to build the foundation for the vibrant community we want for ourselves and our family.” 26
