What is Helsingin Ekonomit?

Helsingin Ekonomit, The Finnish Business School Graduates Helsinki Section, originally founded in 1935 by former KY members, offers you many opportunities to succeed. We add value to your student time by providing you a wide range of events and courses where you can develop your skills and get inspired. We also provide you a networking platform: Helsingin Ekonomit has about 17 000 members with whom you can discuss, brainstorm, spar and create meaningful relationships. Our members are business graduates from all over Finland and abroad. Our main purpose is to support the professional and personal skills of our members and to act as a networking platform among business graduates and students. Helsingin Ekonomit has 17 clubs, each of which focuses on a certain field of business, e.g. finance, accounting, marketing, digitalization, management and so on. The clubs collaborate with KY’s subject clubs. Our 160 volunteers create relevant content for business students and graduates by organizing events and doing various other activities.

How can you as a business student benefit from Helsingin Ekonomit?

• Events: As a business student, you are welcome to attend any of the 150 events we organize every year. Events are related mainly to professional skills, company visits and wellbeing. Mark your calendar and get your ticket at ekonomisummit.fi! • Scholarships: Helsingin Ekonomit grants scholarships every year for business students. Application period for scholarships is during autumn.
