experience AECOM August 2016- December 2016 Corporate Workplace / Interior Design Intern Chicago, IL Assisted fellow designers on projects through the use of Revit, the Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, and Lumion. Utilized Revit to model existing structures from the ground up for renovation. Assisted in the generation of AECOM Corporate Workplace/Buildings and Places Standards for architectural drawings and specifications. aBOUT mE Hello! My name is Kyle K. Berry and I am extremely passionate about utilizing design as a tool to bring my client’s vision to life. I am currently enrolled in the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design Architecture Art and Planning pursuing my Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. I see design as a way to change people’s lives for the better through the curation of the built environment. I love to use programs such as Revit, Lumion 3-D, V-Ray, and Photoshop to create captivating renderings of spaces soon to be brought into existence. When I’m not designing spaces you can usually find me downtown scoping out the latest brunch spot or attending a local IIDA or NEWH meeting.
HOK August 2014 - December 2014 Interior Design Co-op May 2015 - August 2015 Chicago, IL Utilized AutoCAD and Revit to assist designers in spatial planning and creating unique corporate office solutions. Utilized Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite to create photo-realistic renderings to be presented to clients. Assisted designers in on-site visits and client presentations. Maintained and organized the Materials Library by regularly corresponding and meeting with vendors and suppliers. Handled scheduling of library updates, presentations, and vendor meetings. Macy’s Inc January 2014 - May 2014 Interior Design Co-op Cincinnati, Ohio Acted as lead designer in the remodel and rebranding of Macy’s Choose Chicago Visitors Center in the historic Marshall Field building in downtown Chicago. Met with vendors and suppliers to maintain up-to-date product knowledge and specify materials. Used AutoCAD and Sketchup to create innovative fixture designs that were rolled out on a national level. Utilized the Adobe Creative Suite to generate renderings and new logos for various organizations within Macy’s.
