Kelsee Bone 5-5 - Defender Clearfield, Utah Clearfield High School Forza FC Kelsee Bone joins the Thunderbirds from her hometown of Clearfield, Utah where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and team captain at Clearfield High School. The 5-1 defender was an honor roll student at CHS and led the Falcons to their first quarterfinal appearance in the state playoffs. Bone also competed as a member of the Forza club for the past three seasons, capturing championships at the State Cup and College Surf Cup in 2011. “Kelsee is extremely tough on the pitch. She works very diligently on her game and make a huge impact. Her pace and ball touch is goof from both sides of the field. She also anticipates very well. Don’t let her size fool you. As an outside back or wing player, she is very tough. She understands zonal and man marking tactics very well and her ability to serve a ball from the flanks into the box is fantastic. Kelsee would be a huge addition to any team, on and off the pitch.” -Ray Parkhurst, Forza FC “Kelsee is an extremely tenacious defender. Upon first glance, she appears to be smaller in stature than most of the players around her, but she is an explosive ball of fire. To many opponents, Kelsee looks like an easy target, but she thrives when people play that card. She plays at 3 times her physical size, and her low center of gravity benefits her as a strong 1 v 1 defender. I dare anybody to overlook her – more often than not, these are the players that end up on the losing end of a bone crunching tackle (pun intended!). Her determination and tenacity have held true every time we have had the chance to watch her play. Off the field, Kelsee is a funny, well-spoken young woman who will do awesome at SUU.” -Coach Hogan
