Perspective|It is not where we have been but where we are going. We have had choices that have lead us to this moment in time, now. What has been your path, your journey that has lead you here? What is your story? My story is inside and is waiting to be explored. Potential| We have had lived a life that is memorable to us. We have developed in such a way that everything has fallen into place to bring us to this moment, now in time. We are all flower buds, waiting to bloom, waiting to be discovered. Sometimes we have those “late-bloomers and sometime we have the early ones, but we all were made for a reason, for a destiny that we will fulfill. We have the potential to rise above anything and this comes with drive and passion.

Main Street|Taken within the midst of the busiest time with the Magic Kingdom, Disney World has been a Common destination for families, friends, and creative designers for years. From having an average 52,000 guests per day, imagineers had to meet minimum spacing requirements and transform the space of the Magic Kingdom to be an fully immerse experience. Imagineers have designed Main Street using the following design principles; sense of scale, forces perspective, and theming.
Tomorrowland Renovation Walt Disney World Lake Buena Vista, Florida
Introduction With ever-changing entertainment demands, the world renowned Disney World (Florida) will always have a challenge of keeping their entertainment experience up to date. The utopian, ultramodern design of 1967’s Tomorrowland, gleaming with stark white, black and cool shades of blue and silver was supposed to resemble space. Tomorrowland was then transformed in 1994 to predominantly white and blues, creating a retro-modernist landscape altered to resemble a galactic spaceport as envisioned by the sci-fi comic strips of the early 20th century.
Our heritage and ideals, our code and standards - the things we live by and teach our children - are preserved or diminished by how freely we exchange ideas and feelings. ~Walt Disney *Outstanding Design Award Individual Project

Garibaldi Passage Piazza Garibaldi, Janiculum Hill Rome, Italy
Introduction With the desperate need for an identity, the Janiculum Hill holds many important landmarks, like Porta Pancrazio and The Giuseppe Garibaldi Monument. These two landmarks are disconnected and need to strive for a unity. The ridge connecting these two landmarks, over time, have been transformed from a pedestrian route to a vehicular throughway. The Garibaldi Passage Project entitles Redeveloping, Reorganizing, and Reconnecting the physical and social structure of this monumental hill.
“The Janiculum was the second highest hill in Ancient Rome... because of its stunning location overlooking the city, it is thought that the cult’s priests would stand atop the hill and look for auspices - signs from the gods. ~ Unknown *Cultural Diversity Individual Project

Existing Conditions 2
A site that is disconnected and showing its age, C.W. Henry school has been waiting in limbo for a site improvements. With funding limited within the Mt. Airy School District, there is only so much that can be achieved. The one thing that sets C.W. Henry apart from the other Mt. Airy Schools is the community in which surrounds it. They are progressive and wanting to see change. The change has started with the addition of a small family owned grocery store on the North corner of Carpenter Land and Greener St. With the school showing little curb appeal and unsafe exterior conditions for the students, C.W. Henry needs to be the next update in the community.

Analysis, Diagrams, and Process Throughout the duration of working with C.W. Henry representatives and community members, Iowa State University developed a sequence of bubble diagrams that show the process of our initial work through the conceptual design proposal. We have developed our ideas using the existing circulation as an aesthetic ordering system. This aesthetic ordering system, the braided river, can we seeing within our spacial planning diagram. The time of our schematic design development spread from Oct. 17th, 2015 thru Dec. 1st, 2015.

Being in North Philadelphia and in a heavily vegetated area, a shadow study was recommended to understand what type of plant materials we should use throughout the site. We concluded that we would not get more than 6 hours of direct sun throughout the year and would have to use plants that would grow in semi shade/sun.

Towns Near Eagle, CO|Interconnected by a single road and biking train, Eagle, CO has only two neighbors that help this commuter community thrive. Located to the West is Gypsum, which provides a region airport, and to the East is Edwards, an unincorporated community.
Confluence Park Eagle, Colorado
Introduction Imagine a site that breaks the borders between human and wildlife interaction by creating an open exchange between the two. This seven acre site sits at the confluence of Brush Creek and Eagle River. It is an active site for animal crossing and will need to cater to both animal and human populations.

Upon arriving to Confluence Park for the first time, we saw an abandon site that was battered and abused by the existing junk yard on site and previous illegal burying of contaminants. We know from city analyses that there was a need and draw for extending the existing trails, city park system, and open space plan which became our design intent. We needed to create a space where animals could migrate in the spring and fall along and a place that brought the community of Eagle, Colorado together to allow for an open exchange. Eagle river was the second obstacle that needed to be addressed. With its visual beautiful and essence, aggressive flow and force we knew that a raised crossed would be the only adequate option.

Native prairie plant species that pixelate into active pedestrian trails is the aesthetic design principle that is used throughout the site. Creating layers and multiple heights through vegetation and built structure will create a endless park that creates contrast and spacial depth. With the significance of water in Colorado, a retention basin was needed to treat any subsurface contamination and clean water before it enters Brush creek and Eagle River.

Constuction Document Overview|With 15 buildings on site, zone isolation was required to properly ensure accuracy within the construction of the Fossil Creek Complex. Key zones that emphasized the landscape were graded and managed by the Landscape Architect Project Manager.
Fossil Creek Amenities Center Dallas, Texas
Introduction Grading a three tier pool with and three tier retaining wall was a task that need to be completed with percision and understanding of how water would drain on site. The grading task and rendering tasks were completed by Kyle Schellhorn. The importance of the rendering to was to get a visualisation of the site and how it would look once built.

Introduction Coming as a request to send a rendering to our client, I was tasked with creating multiple perspectives in lumion on what the new San Jacinto roundabout will look like when completed in 2018. With little direction give to Kimley-horn on what was need in the perspective, I was able to free my mind of the limitation of what the perspective had to be and think about what it could be. How could we best dipict this new road, round about, and wave wall?
