Without a doubt, one of those small but important details that makes such a difference is our unmistakable kymo backing, just one reason why our floorwear® is so unique. All of our rugs come with an exceptionally robust backing made with polyester felt – in original kymo blue, of course.* Not only does this backing help hold everything together, it also ensures that floorwear® with a lighter pile lie completely flat underfoot. Another welcome benefit with this special backing is that it significantly enhances acoustics – footsteps are quieter and noise from the entire room is simply absorbed without noticing. No more echoes or empty sounding rooms, even if you have a high ceiling. To add extra anti-slip grip, all editions in the Experimental range also come with small PVC knobs.
