16 Reasons Why Mitt Romney Would Be A Really, Really Bad President The American Dream Monday, October 31, 2011 At this point, it appears very likely that Mitt Romney is going to be the Republican nominee for president in 2012. He has raised far more money than any of the other candidates, he is leading or is near the lead in all of the early states, the mainstream media have anointed him as the frontrunner and a number of recent polls show that most Republicans 1. fully expect Romney to win the nomination. So will Mitt Romney be the next president of the United States? Well, he certainly fits the part. He looks like a president and he speaks very well. But when you look at what he really stands for that is where things become very troubling. The truth is that Mitt Romney is either very wrong or very “soft” on every single major issue. It would be a huge understatement to refer to Mitt Romney as a RINO (“Republican in name only”). When you closely examine their positions, there is very, very little difference between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. Sure, Romney and Obama will say the “right things” to the voters during election season, but the reality is that a Romney administration would be so similar to an Obama administration that you would hardly know that a change has taken place. What you are about to read about Mitt Romney should alarm you very much. Mitt Romney would be a an absolute disaster for this country, and America cannot afford another disastrous presidency. The fact that Barack Obama looked sharp and could give inspiring speeches helped him go a long way back in 2008. Well, it is the same thing with Romney. The guy looks very presidential and he sounds very presidential. When backed into a corner, he is extremely slick. He rarely makes mistakes and he is very polished. Mitt Romney is a “politician” in the worst sense of the word. As his past has demonstrated, he will do and say just about anything in order to get elected. The positions he has taken during this campaign season have been carefully calculated to help him win both the Republican nomination and the general election. That is why so many call Mitt Romney a “flip-flopper”. Romney will take just about any political position if he thinks that it will help him. Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann Romney, once made the following statement about her husband…. “He can argue any side of a question. And sometimes you think he’s really believing his argument, but he’s not.” So keep that in mind while reading the following information. Mitt Romney is trying to claim that he is a “conservative” and that he is looking out for the American people, but those claims simply are not true. The following are 16 reasons why Mitt Romney would be a really, really bad president….

#1 Obamacare was one of the worst pieces of legislation ever passed by the U.S. Congress. Mitt Romney says that he would repeal Obamacare, but the reality is that Romneycare was what Obamacare was based on. In fact, a recent MSNBC article brought to light some new information about the relationship between Romneycare and Obamacare…. Newly obtained White House records provide fresh details on how senior Obama administration officials used Mitt Romney’s landmark health-care law in Massachusetts as a model for the new federal law, including recruiting some of Romney’s own health care advisers and experts to help craft the act now derided by Republicans as “Obamacare.” The records, gleaned from White House visitor logs reviewed by NBC News, show that senior White House officials had a dozen meetings in 2009 with three health-care advisers and experts who helped shape the health care reform law signed by Romney in 2006, when the Republican presidential candidate was governor of Massachusetts. Mitt Romney continues to defend Romneycare, but the reality is that it really is a total nightmare for Massachusetts. The following is how one bloggersummarized some of the key points of Romneycare…. • Punitive To Individuals. Everyone must buy health insurance or face tax penalties equal to 50% of cost of standard policy. • Hundreds of millions of dollars being spent on free hospital care were converted into subsidies to help the needy buy insurance. • A health insurance “exchange” was established to help connect the uninsured with private health plans at more affordable rates. • Health plans can offer consumers higher deductibles and more restrictive physician and hospital networks in order to lower costs. • Punitive to Businesses with 11 or more workers that do not offer insurance must pay a $295 per employee fee. • Established payment policy advisory board; one Board member must be from Planned Parenthood. No pro-life organization represented. • Provides Taxpayer-Funded Abortions for copay of $50. So what have been the results of Romneycare in Massachusetts? According to the Daily Caller, health care costs and health insurance premiums have gone up dramatically in Massachusetts…. Since the bill became law, the state’s total direct health-care spending has increased by a remarkable 52 percent. Medicaid spending has gone from less than $6 billion a year to more the $9 billion. Many consumers have seen double-digit percentage increases in their premiums. All of that certainly sounds a whole lot like Obamacare. Unfortunately, the other Republican candidates have not taken advantage of this weakness. According to one brand new poll, 6 times as many Republicans view Romneycare unfavorably as

view it favorably. This is something that the other candidates should be jumping on big time. #2 During his time as governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney significantly raised taxes. The following is an excerpt from a CBS News article…. Mitt Romney’s Harvard MBA and gold-plated resume convinced many business leaders he would follow in the tradition of corporate-friendly Republicans when he was elected governor of Massachusetts in 2002. Within three years, some had a vastly different opinion, after Romney’s efforts raised the tax bill on businesses by $300 million The same article also notes that Romney jacked up “fees and fines” on Massachusetts taxpayers substantially…. Romney and lawmakers also approved hundreds of millions in higher fees and fines during his four years in office. Many in the Massachusetts business community were quite disgusted with Romney by the end of his tenure. Peter Nicholas, the chairman of Boston Science Corporation, says that “tax rates on many corporations almost doubled because of legislation supported by Romney.” #3 Government spending in Massachusetts increased significantly under Mitt Romney. An advocate of smaller government he most definitely is not. This was especially true for the last two budgets passed under Romney. In fiscal year 2006, government spending in Massachusetts increased by 7.6 percent. In fiscal year 2007, government spending in Massachusetts increased by a whopping10.2 percent. #4 It turns out that Mitt Romney is a believer in the theory of man-made global warming. In fact, Al Gore recently praised on Mitt Romney on his blog. In a post entitled “Good for Mitt Romney — though we’ve long passed the point where weak lip-service is enough on the Climate Crisis“, Al Gore lavished the following praise on the former Massachusetts governor…. “While other Republicans are running from the truth, he is sticking to his guns in the face of the anti-science wing of the Republican Party” Not only that, it is also very important to remember that while Mitt Romney was governor, Massachusetts became the very first state to pass a law to regulate carbon emissions. #5 If Mitt Romney becomes president, we may actually have “cap and trade” shoved down our throats. While campaigning for president in 2007, Mitt Romney said that he would support a “cap and trade” carbon tax scheme for the entire world…. “I support Cap-and-Trade on a global basis but not the USA going alone. I want to do it with other nations involved and on a global scale.” #6 Mitt Romney had a horrible record of creating jobs while governor of Massachusetts. According to Boston Herald business reporter Bret Arends, only one state in the entire country

was worse at creating jobs while Romney was in office…. “During the four years Mitt Romney was governor of Massachusetts, it had the second worst jobs record of any state in America…it wasn’t a regional issue. The rest of New England created nearly 200,000 jobs.” #7 Mitt Romney was a very enthusiastic supporter of the Wall Street bailouts. When the time comes for more Wall Street bailouts it seems almost certain that Mitt Romney will bail them out again. #8 If Romney becomes president, get ready for a flood of liberal judges. While he was governor of Massachusetts, there were actually significantly more Democrats among his judicial appointments than there were Republicans. #9 Mitt Romney is incredibly soft on illegal immigration. Back in 2007, Mitt Romney made the following statement…. “But my view is that those 12 million who’ve come here illegally should be given the opportunity to sign up to stay here” #10 While he was governor, Mitt Romney received advice on global warming and carbon emissions from the man who is now the top science adviser to Barack Obama. His name is John P. Holdren, and he has some very, very disturbing ideas. For example, he once wrote the following…. “A program of sterilizing women after their second or third child, despite the relatively greater difficulty of the operation than vasectomy, might be easier to implement than trying to sterilize men. The development of a long-term sterilizing capsule that could be implanted under the skin and removed when pregnancy is desired opens additional possibilities for coercive fertility control. The capsule could be implanted at puberty and might be removable, with official permission, for a limited number of births.” Holdren also believes that compulsory abortion would be perfectly legal under the U.S. Constitution…. “Indeed, it has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.” So if this is the kind of person that Mitt Romney relied on for “scientific advice” while he was governor, what kind of people would Romney bring in to his administration once he is president? #11 Mitt Romney has been a huge supporter of gun control laws. When he was running for governor in Massachusetts, he made the following statement…. “We do have tough gun laws in Massachusetts- I support them…I believe they help protect us, and provide for our safety.”

#12 Mitt Romney once claimed that he was more “pro-choice” than Ted Kennedy, but now he claims that he is pro-life. In a recent article for WorldNetDaily, Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt explained why so many voters are still skeptical…. This year he’s the only major Republican presidential candidate who has yet to sign the Susan B. Anthony List pledge to defend life and defund Planned Parenthood nationwide. Candidates Bachmann, Perry, Gingrich, Paul, Pawlenty and Santorum all signed the pledge, although it should be noted Herman Cain supports everything in the pledge except the Fetal Pain Act. (Cain is not fully pro-life, either.) And who can forget Mitt’s famous 2002 campaign debate bragging repeatedly that he’s more pro-choice than Ted Kennedy? #13 During this campaign season, Mitt Romney has stated that he only supportspartnership agreements for gay couples and not gay marriage, but what Romney actually did while governor of Massachusetts suggests otherwise. In the WorldNetDaily article referenced above, Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt detailed how Mitt Romney aggressively implemented gay marriage in the state of Massachusetts…. When the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court decided in 2003 to recognize homosexual “marriage,” ignoring the voters and the Constitution, the court admitted it did not have power to issue licenses or force participation by justices of the peace to solemnize the weddings. But as governor, Romney didn’t wait for the legislature to act, he just ordered the marriage licenses and weddings to go forward, all by himself. Earlier this month, Romney said in New Hampshire, “What I would support [nationwide] is letting people who are of the same gender form – if you will – partnership agreements.” #14 As late as 2007, Mitt Romney was a member of the Republican Main Street Partnership. The following is what romneyexposed.com says about this organization…. They often work in conjunction with the pro-abortion group, Republicans for Choice, and the Republican homosexual group, the Log Cabin Club. They also opposed the nomination of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and set up a 527 campaign committee that received funding from far left funder George Soros. #15 According to the Huffington Post, Mitt Romney has raised more money from lobbyists than all of the other Republican candidates combined. So if Mitt Romney becomes president, who do you think he is going to listen to – the American people or the lobbyists?

Staring Into The Abyss October 31, 2011 by 1. Bob Livingston It’s the beginning of the end of the system as we know it. There are alarms sounding all around us. Some people hear them. Most people don’t. Certainly the political class — the statist warriors championing the “isms” (progressivism, socialism, Marxism, totalitarianism) that infest Washington — don’t hear them. Like the hear-no-evil and seeno-evil monkeys, their hands cover their ears and eyes. Not their mouths, though. Evil pours out in everything they say. The Tea Party protests were about changing the system, but they were just early warning signs. In the beginning, before they were coopted — some, not all — behind the scenes by the Republican establishment, they were strictly a grassroots movement that sprang up from a growing disgust at the players in Washington. This was in 2008, when Ron Paul supporters were chanting “End the Fed,” and in the first half of 2009, when they were occupying Washington, D.C., and shouting “Kill the Bill.” As the slave masters in Washington pushed America toward a European-style socialism model of governance — particularly with the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Obamacare and talks of cap-and-trade legislation — the proles rose up and their numbers swelled. Article continued below… Uncle Sam Has Been Lying to You President Obama says the economy is improving—but take a look around. Unemployment is still at record highs… real estate is still at record lows… and banks are still failing across the country. What’s really going on?Don’t expect Uncle Sam to give you any answers. The government has been distorting—and in many cases deliberately covering up—the seriousness of the situation to protect its own interests. To get the truth about the financial crisis—and discover the simple steps you need to take

in order to survive it—click here now. The elites and their corporate media propaganda arm, mainstream media, used all of the dirty tricks they knew to cast the proles, also known as the American middle class — small business owners, farmers, retirees, retired military, housewives, blue collar workers — Tea Party participants, as ignorant, racist hatemongers. It wasn’t true. Of course, there were some of those there, as there are in any crowd. But by far, the vast majority were simply salt-of-the-earth Americans — content to earn a living, run their businesses, raise their kids, tend their yards and give scarcely a thought about Washington, D.C., except as a possible vacation destination or every two to four years at election time. They rose up in protest only because they had finally had enough. But the elites didn’t hear them, didn’t see them, didn’t heed them. When the issues were settled in Congress over their objections, Tea Partiers went home. They didn’t trash their capital. They didn’t destroy police cars. They didn’t clash with the police. They cleaned up behind themselves and left. They were content they had done all they could by protesting. It was time for step No. 2. They got to work behind the scenes. Some decided to run for office. Some decided to back likeminded individuals who wanted to run. For more than a year, they worked; and the fruits of their labor ripened on November 2010. A few ism-pushers from both parties were swept from office. Democrat, Republican, it didn’t matter. Tea Partiers suffered some losses, to be sure, but more victories. There is still much to be done. The Federal Reserve — that illegal entity that is not Federal (owned or operated by the government) and doesn’t hold reserves — continues to benefit the banking cartel and the elected class to the detriment of the American citizen. There are still many ism-pushers in Congress, on both sides of the aisle, and in the Judicial Branch. And, oh yes, the Marxist inhabiting the White House is in full campaign mode. He’ll say and do anything to get re-elected in order to continue his drive to “fundamentally transform” America. And then there’s the Republican beauty contest. The proles are watching it with growing interest. The field is less stable than fluid — more like vaporous. The proles, also known as the electorate, are desperate to find a candidate who represents their values. They tried Michele Bachmann for a time. Rick Perry was next. Now, it’s Herman Cain. They know it’s not Mitt Romney, the big government, Romneycare flip-flopper representing the Northeast liberal Republican establishment. But the bigwig banksters and party elites are backing him. No surprise there. He’s one of them.

The MSM continue to denigrate, dismiss and black out Ron Paul. Paul is the guy who shares their values, though most can’t get past their ingrained prejudices to see it. The elites know his message of liberty, small government and sound monetary policy will resonate with those who pay more than passing attention. That is, people who can turn off “American Idol,” “Survivor” and “Monday Night Football” long enough to actually study who the candidates are and what they stand for beyond a 30-second sound bite. The Occupy movement — whether it’s Wall Street, Chicago, Oakland or Atlanta — is another sign of what’s coming. Though most seem to be a misguided lot of misfits – seeking a system of strong socialism or even Marxism — their message of class warfare is resonating with many people. But just as the Republican establishment tried to take over the Tea Party movement, the Democratic establishment is seeking to co-opt the Occupy movement. George Soros, the big unions, Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama all see it as way to push their class-warfare agenda and achieve their socialist/Marxist utopia. The Obama State Department has also injected one of its activists into the movement. Ahmed Maher, who was funded by the State Department to coordinate the Egypt uprising, is now giving advice to the Occupy Wall Street group. The right continues to cast aspersions at the Occupy movement, telling the Occupiers to “get a job.” If only it were that simple. True unemployment stands between 16 percent and 20 percent. For blacks it’s even higher. Almost half of all black youths are unemployed. Government regulation, tax breaks encouraging businesses to move facilities and money out of the country and the uncertainties created by Obamacare, Dodd-Frank and other government overreach are keeping those numbers high. The Tea Party groups were on to something in 2008 and 2009. They wanted to reign in government spending and government overreach. They are trying to do it through the system by influencing elections. There has been moderate success in that arena. The rank-and-file Tea Partiers are those who still believe in the system and will work within the rules to try and change it through elections. It’s almost too late for that… maybe it is too late. The Occupy movement is on to something as well. They blame Wall Street for their troubles. Wall Street and the banksters share the blame, but, in truth, corporatocracy and the Federal Reserve are the roots of the problem and the problem must be dealt with root and branch. But the Occupy bunch remain trapped in the left/right paradigm and attack only those they view as on the right of the political spectrum and give a pass to those on the left. In my book, Robbed Blind! Who’s Really to Blame for America’s Economic Crisis?, I explained how the Federal government stepped in and stopped State investigations seeking to reign in the fraudulent loan practices before the collapse in the Fall of 2008:

Instead of helping the States pursue those who were making fraudulent loans, both the OTS [Office of Thrift Supervision] and the OCC [Office of the Comptroller of the Currency] put out new rules that prohibited the States from enforcing rules that would slow down the fraudulent deals being made by the nationally chartered thrifts and banks. As a matter of fact, Julie Williams, who was chief counsel of the OCC, attended a meeting where she lectured States’ attorneys general against trying to control the fraud. She said the OCC would “quash” them if they kept on trying to go after the banks and thrifts. When the FCIC [Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission] looked into these allegations, two former OCC comptrollers, John Hawke and John Dugan defended their actions by claiming they were, “defending the agency’s constitutional obligation to block state efforts to impinge on federally-created entities.” But [Illinois Attorney General Lisa] Madigan told the FCIC that the OCC was, “particularly zealous in its efforts to thwart state authority over national lenders, and lax in its effort to protect consumers from the coming crisis.” Even the U.S. Supreme Court got into the act of enabling the banksters. In 2003, the now-defunct Wachovia Bank told Michigan regulators it would not obey State laws because, as a national bank under the supervision of the OCC, it didn’t have to. When Michigan objected, Wachovia sued. When the case finally wound its way to the Supreme Court four years later, the Court ruled 5-3 in favor of Wachovia. It turned out to be a hollow victory. Wachovia was soon swallowed up by Wells Fargo and the “too-big-to-fails” grew bigger. The system, geared as it is to benefit the top 1 percent, is on an unsustainable path. The price of gold is one chapter of the story. The rise of the Tea Party is another chapter. The rise of the Occupy movement is another. High unemployment, unprecedented government spending and money creation, the growing disparity between the haves and have-nots, class warfare angst ginned up by the political class, inflation: These are the danger signals. In a few years, the system will be different. Just exactly what it will look like depends on who wins: the Tea Party, the Occupiers, the banksters or some other as-yet unseen entity. We are staring into an abyss of chaos and destruction. Beware and be wary!

Snowstorm, Cold Makes Life In Zuccotti Park Difficult For OWS Protesters Cold, Drenched OWS Members Ask Homeless For Winter Weather Survival Tips October 30, 2011 11:50 PM

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – 1. Saturday’s snow storm made life in Zuccotti Park miserable for Occupy Wall Street protesters. Demonstrators were left drenched with rain and then snow as the storm moved through the region. Central Park set a record for both the date and the month of October with 2.9 inches of snow. Those camping out in the park have been stockpiling donated blankets, scarves, coats and have been trying to get more tents, cots and tarps. PHOTOS: October Snowstorm According to an “urgent” alert on their website, OWS is looking for a number of other donations, including waterproof boots, gloves, hats, hand and foot warmers and disposable foot covers among other things. The site says the protesters “are in need of emergency supplies crucial for cold weather survival (and occupation).” The site says they also need cots to get protesters off the ground, adding that they don’t have any and “could really use these.” Reportedly, some have been even getting winter weather survival tips from the homeless. They say they’re also looking for thermal heaters after fire officials removed six of the protesters’ gas-powered generators from Zuccotti Park on Friday, saying it was safety issue. “The argument could be made they just wanted to get at our power source,” said demonstrator Brian Najdanik. Without generators, protesters were left with just flashlights and lanterns. Lights, cooking equipment and the media center at Zuccotti Park were all turned off. Fire officials say storing gasoline in such packed quarters is simply too dangerous. But the protesters are coming up with a new

solution – a stationary bike and generator connected to a battery. “We’ve got five bike-powered generator systems that are coming from Boston and we’ve got five more plus other ones that are going to supplement as well so we’re completely, completely off the grid,” said demonstrator Lauren Minis. Insiders at Occupy Wall Street say they expect to have their media center and the food service area fully powered and illuminated by Monday. The movement is also expected to reveal just how much money they have raised and spent in the first five weeks of the Occupy Wall Street campaign. OWS has reportedly raised nearly $454,000 and has spent more than $50,000 so far for things like food, clothing, medical supplies, laundry, media and other expenses.

Communists Occupy Pontiac Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com October 31, 2011 The video below shows a set for the new version of the movie Red Dawn. It was recorded on a street in Pontiac, Michigan. It’s interesting to note the posters shown in the video. One is reminiscent of the Occupy Wall Street crowd, while another looks like something the Department of Homeland Security might put out. something, say something. 1. Collectivists are drearily predictable. They invariably call for redistribution of wealth but the money never seems to make it to the unwashed masses. It is always used to build a surveillance state like the one in East Germany or Cuba. Instead of using money confiscated from the producers to make life better for the workers, redistribution schemes are always used to enlarge the size and power of government, pay off special vested interests, and create a class of fat cat bureaucrats to lord over citizen-subjects. The remake of Red Dawn originally had the communist Chinese invading America, but this was changed in post production after state-run media in China complained. Instead of China, the invasion of the United States portrayed in the film is launched by North Korea, a mega-failed state

that can’t feed its own people. It’s probably not a good idea for an American film company to anger the country that holds our national debt.

Infowars: Taking On The Establishment Media & Winning Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com Monday, October 31, 2011 Still maverick after all these years – not taking hand outs from George Soros, NGO’s or corporate lobbyists There’s a very good reason why Infowars.com gets more traffic than MSNBC.com, why the Infowars media platform is now taking on the establishment media head to head, and why the message of liberty is once again creating brushfires in the minds of men and women across the globe – that reason is you our supporters, who we turn to once again for your fantastic support in the upcoming Infowars MoneyBomb. Infowars Offensive 2011 VIDEO BELOW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-sd6aq4QIs Unlike other media platforms that pose as “alternative,” Infowars is not funded by the likes of George Soros, the Ford Foundation, or the Carnegie Institute. We are not PBS, we do not receive taxpayer funds. Similarly, we are not like the BBC in Britain, which uses government coercion to force people into paying license fees for content they may not even want. We are completely funded by you our listeners and readers buying our books, DVD’s and T-shirts, doing business with our advertisers, as well as subscribing to Prison Planet.tv – the price of which has not changed in the 7-and-a-half years since its launch. We do not have the luxury of turning to big corporate backers or strings-attached foundations when the bills need to be paid. We will not compromise our message by diluting the truth or playing the phony partisan blame game just to get a hand out from some slimy NGO. Our commitment is not to a handful of billionaire financiers who would corrupt our output and turn it into just another arm of the Republican or Democratic parties, our commitment is to you our supporters, and to the truth. Just look at what your support has enabled us to achieve over the course of the last decade. When I first visited the Infowars operation in 2005, it was a focused but rag-tag handful of people operating out of a tiny warehouse and make-shift broadcasting studio. Fast-forward six years and your support has transformed the entire operation into a piercing shaft of light that has illuminated an otherwise barren corporate media landscape. Your support has paid for our bigger office space and warehouse, it has paid for the new TV studio, it has paid for the expensive equipment, it has paid for the new employees to run the show and finally turn what was a one man crusade into a powerful media command base.

Infowars.com gets more traffic than MSNBC.com (without the aid of GE funding), we are regularly linked on the hugely influential Drudge Report website, and the message of liberty has rattled the status quo to its core, specifically through Ron Paul’s presidential campaign, for which Infowars has proudly served as a vocal platform. We now ask once again for your fantastic support as we seek to take Infowars to the next level, off into the stratosphere, and go head to head with the dying but still omnipotent establishment media, with the launch of the 2011 Infowars MoneyBomb on November 3rd, which again will see Alex Jones broadcast for a staggering 24 hours straight. If you believe in what we are doing and can judge our sincerity by the fruits of our labor and our track record, then please consider becoming part of the Infowars MoneyBomb by donating here or alternatively you can support us by becoming a PrisonPlanet.tv subscriber, and in doing so taking advantage of the 15-day free trial we are currently running. If you cannot afford to donate, please help us by simply spreading the word about the MoneyBomb. Time is short, and the world seems to be changing at an ever-accelerating pace, with the kind of turmoil we predicted years ago now unfolding in front of our eyes. In order to undertake our mission in these momentous times in human history, we call on you our supporters to stand behind us and aside us as we march onto the battlefield of ideas and take the Infowar into 2012 and beyond. ********************* Paul Joseph Watson is the editor and writer for Prison Planet.com.
