Rebel Flag Controversy: Why Not Just Ban Democratic Party For Its Links To Racism?

Liberals who are calling for a ban of the Confederate flag in South Carolina for its supposed links to racism are forgetting that the Democratic Party has its own ties to racism.

Numerous leftists are attacking the flag in the aftermath of the Charleston, S.C. shooting, such as CNN legal analyst Sunny Hostin who claims the Confederate flag “represents terror and intimidation of African-Americans in that state” and President Obama who believes the flag “belongs in a museum.”

Lost in the debate, however, is the fact that the Ku Klux Klan was created as a terroristic force serving the interests of the Democratic Party and those who desired the restoration of so-called “white supremacy.”

“Founded in 1866 as a Tennessee social club, the Ku Klux Klan spread into nearly every Southern state, launching a ‘reign of terror‘ against Republican leaders black and white,” noted historian Eric Foner wrote in his book Reconstruction: America’s Unfinished Revolution.

“It aimed to destroy the Republican party’s infrastructure, undermine the Reconstruction state, reestablish control of the black labor force, and restore racial subordination in every aspect of Southern

life,” Foner added.

This isn’t ancient history: the late Democratic Sen. Robert Byrd was so deeply involved with the Klan that when he passed away in 2010, the mainstream media did their absolute best to whitewash Byrd’s past as a top level Klan leader and recruiter.

“ABC News noted that ‘despite his successful political track record, the Senate’s senior Democrat was no stranger to controversy and was once a member of the Ku Klux Klan,’ as if calling for the extermination of dark-skinned peoples (as well as Jews, Catholics, and gays) was no more stirring a gaffe than Gary Hart’s monkey business,” the Daily Caller’s Mike Riggs pointed out.

Today African-Americans are still struggling under President Obama and other Democratic politicians.

“The data is going to indicate sadly that when the Obama administration is over, black people will have lost ground in every single leading economic indicator category,” Tavis Smiley, a black radio host, said.

“On that regard, the president ought to be held responsible.”

Council Of Conservative Citizens Adds To Racist Dialogue As Race War Brews In America

by KURT NIMMO | INFOWARS.COM | JUNE 23, 2015 FBI has history of infiltrating and driving racist movement in America. on monday Jared Taylor, a spokesperson for the Council of Conservative Citizens, said that although his organization condemns the actions of Charleston shooter Dylann Roof, it does not mean Roof did not have “some legitimate grievances.”

Taylor’s remark is in stark contrast to the national discourse led by the establishment media. According to the media, Roof wanted to spark a race war and was inspired by the ideology of the Council of Conservative Citizens.

Tracing the Council of Conservative Citizens Back to the Klan

The Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC) formed out of the White Citizens Councils (WCC) — later simply Citizens’ Councils — of the 1950s and 1960s. The councils were opposed school desegregation, specifically the Supreme Court’s 1954 ruling on Brown vs. the Board of Education.

George Thayer (The Father Shores of Politics: The American Political Fringe Today) writes that the White Citizens Councils represented “the uptown Klan.” He argues that the councils were devised to distance racist ideology from the bad rap the Ku Klux Klan earned since the days of Reconstruction in the South.

Thayer writes: But by whatever name they are known, there is no doubt that the Citizens’ Councils of America are blood kin to the Ku Klux Klan. To be sure, the Councils and the Klan are not on speaking terms, but the aims are the same: the maintenance of segregation and the preservation of “the Southern way of Life.” The Councils appeal to the better educated, more sophisticated Southern segregationist because their tactics are more subtle, more clever than Klan activities. There are no cross-burnings, demonstrations, or cornfield harangues to interest the uneducated, “wool hat” or “redneck” racist. If the mark of a Klansman is cracking skulls, then the mark of a member of the Citizens’ Councils is twisting arms.

The Council of Conservative Citizens is linked back to the WCC through its board of directors who are former leaders of the segregationist Citizens’ Councils of America, founded by Major Bob Patterson.

White Citizens’ Council, the Ku Klux Klan and COINTELRPO

“No serious efforts were made to explore the role of White Citizens’ Councils that served as front for the Klan, and no one investigated the widespread complicity in racist violence on the part of local police” in the 1950s and 1960s in the South, writes Adetokunbo Knowles Borishade.

In COINTELPRO: The Untold American Story Paul Wolf documents the role the FBI played in the Klan.

Wolf notes that according to the Church Committee more than one quarter of all active Klan members in the 1960s were FBI agents or informants.

“However, Bureau intelligence ‘assets’ were neither neutral observers nor objective investigators, but active participants in beatings, bombings and murders that claimed the lives of some 50 civil rights activists by 1964,” Wolf writes.

These assets established dozens of Klaverns and often served as leaders and public spokespersons.

“The Klan, the WCC, and the CCC have all worked in concert with the FBI and COINTELPRO,” Borishade argues. He believes the goal is to neutralize any political or social advancement in the black community.

However, it now appears intelligence operations established in the 1960s under COINTELPRO now have a different agenda in mind — the fostering of racial tension and ultimately a race war in the United States.

“In light of the growing list of serious scandals and unrivaled law-breaking by this Administration, it is clear why there is such a relentless push for a ‘full scale race war,’” writes Michael Thomas. “Obama’s inner circle must feel that it has no choice but to distract the American people from the unrelenting corruption and ubiquitous malfeasance that must be kept hidden from the public.”

Thomas continues: Clearly, there is a much more significant and profound reason for so much racial conflict purposefully generated by Obama, his political proxies and agents throughout the Mainstream Media (MSM). Ever-intensifying class warfare has been raging across the nation since September of 2008. The moneyed class has been under direct assault by those who have been harmed by the greatest transfer of wealth in modern history.

In December, Doug Hagmann of the Northeast Intelligence Network told Alex Jones sources within the Department of Homeland Security had revealed details about “a government-brewed race war” in the United States.
