Future Cop Says Protesters Should Be Exterminated In “Gas Chambers” Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com January 13, 2014 “I would beat your f***ing ass just for the sheer joy of it” UPDATE: Darren Redding claims a friend used his Facebook account while at his home to post the threatening message. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Department says that no Darren Redding is associated with them, although the Department has not indicated whether Redding’s friend who made the post is a trainee with them or not. The Sheriff’s Department originally claimed that Redding’s account was “hacked” but Redding admits that one of his friends used the account while visiting his home. The identity of the person who made the post and if they are connected with the police department needs to be ascertained. A man claiming to be a trainee Sheriff’s Deputy posted a threatening Facebook message aimed at Cop Block, an organization which advocates filming police officers, in which the soon to be cop said that protesters should be exterminated in “gas chambers” and that he would beat them up “just for the sheer joy of it.” “While its rare that we receive direct death threats, they must be taken seriously, especially when they come from someone with military training and is about to become a Law enforcement agent / Sheriff,” states a post on the official CopBlock Facebook page. According to CopBlock, the threats were made by Darren Redding, a former U.S. Marine who claims to be a current cadet in training with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Department. Redding’s Facebook page has now been deleted, but the messages sent to CopBlock appear at the end of this article. “If I had my way, there would be another holocaust with camps and gas chambers full of fucking cunt scabs like you, I hope you die,” stated Redding, adding, “I hope some cop beats your ass next time you’re “protesting” or filming them or whatever. In fact I’m about to start the training academy for the washoe county sheriffs dept in reno, Nevada and I can’t wait to deal with punk ass bitches like you. I would beat your fucking ass just for the sheer joy of it.” “If you were a law abiding citizen you wouldn’t have any problem with 5-0, but something tells me you were probably being a jackass towards a police officer and you got what was coming to you, and that inspired you to make a page giving a bad name to all law enforcement,” stated Redding, complaining about one of Cop Block’s posts.

Cop Block responded to the threats by inviting people to contact the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and suggest that they refrain from hiring someone who has expressed a desire to see people who exercise their rights gassed in concentration camps. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office first responded by claiming Redding’s Facebook page had been hacked, but then distanced themselves from him altogether, asserting he was not in training with them. The Sheriff’s Office’s is expected to make a statement about the issue soon. Hundreds of other Facebook users responded in the comments section, with one former US Army Ranger stating that Redding should not be allowed to become a police officer. “The numbers of the sheriff’s office where he plans to apply should be give out as well as emails for everyone to write to so that this does not just fall through the cracks and be forgotten about. The last thing we need is another out of control officer that will take a dump on people’s rights (or worse),” remarked Kevin Warrick. While the vast majority of police officers do not espouse such extreme views, this is another example of how a minority of law enforcement personnel, especially those who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, are now entering the police force with total hostility towards the American people and complete contempt for the bill of rights. Small Town Police Departments Beefing Up On Military-Grade Armor Joe Saunders bizpacreview.com January 13, 2014

Small-town police departments are beefing up on military armor as U.S. wars overseas wind down.

And civil liberties activists are sounding new alarms about a militarized police force in a civilian population. From Florida and Albany, N.Y., to the heartland ofOhio State University and the California coast, local police forces are acquiring weaponry for American streets that was meant for Afghanistan minefields. Fort Pierce, Fla., a town of just over 40,000 on Florida’s Atlantic coast, ranks 56 for gun violence in the United States. But its often beleaguered police force is getting some highpowered help from the United States military in the form of a new armored vehicle known as an MRAP, for Mine Response Ambush Protection. “The military was pretty much handing them out to the different cities and I put in the application for it, and we got pushed through due to the violence in the city we have here,” Fort Pierce police Officer Keith Holmes told WPEC-Channel 12. “If we need it, we have it,” Holmes’ boss, Chief Sean Baldwin told the station. In New York, Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple told the Washington Post the military surplus MRAP is just what the doctor ordered – at the right price. “It’s armored. It’s heavy. It’s intimidating. And it’s free,” he said. The armored vehicles cost about $500,000 for the Pentagon, but 165 of them were essentially given away to local police forces, for about $2,000, according to the Washington Post. A typical armored vehicle for a police SWAT team would run about $150,000 the paper found. They’re intended to be used for protecting officers in hazardous situations – serving warrants on suspects thought to be dangerous – or beefing up routine police coverage, such as crowd control at Ohio State University football games, according to the Washington Post. But what the police departments see as extra help they’re happy to get, the American Civil Liberties Union sees as trend with unhappy results for the American tradition of civilian policing. “One of our concerns with this is it has a tendency to escalate violence,” ACLU Center for Justice senior counsel Kara Dansky told the Washington Post. And the critics just aren’t in the ACLU. In December, a BizPac Review article reported how an MRAP vehicle being made a part of the police arsenal in Salinas, Calif., had brought a storm of criticism to the police departments Facebook page. “That vehicle is made for war. Do not use my safety to justify that vehicle,” one wrote. “The Salinas Police Department is just a bunch of cowards that want to use that vehicle as intimidation and to terrorize the citizens of this city.” Holmes, the Fort Pierce officer, told WPEC he understood critics’ concerns, but said the military armor fits the bill even for smaller department. “I agree to a certain extent its overkill but for the cost, for $2.000, yes, it’s what we need,” he said.

Neocons Call For U.S. Military Action Against Al-Qaeda In Iraq Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com January 13, 2014

Neocon faction pushing for war again In response to Salafist victories in Fallujah and across Iraq’s al-Anbar province, James M. Dubik, a retired Army lieutenant general, has called for direct U.S. involvement to take on the resurgent terrorist group. “If the United States does not get involved, al-Qaeda is likely to win. None of our options is good. Each has risks, but doing too little also has risks,” Dubik writes for the Washington Post. Dubik, the former commander of the Multinational Security Transition Command-Iraq and the NATO Training Mission-Iraq, is a senior fellow a senior fellow at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW). The ISW is a think tank founded by Kimberly Kagan, a member of the neocon Kagan clan. She is married to Frederick Kagan, a resident scholar at the neocon American Enterprise Institute. Frederick Kagan is the brother of Robert Kagan, a co-founder of the Project for the New American Century. Robert Kagan is married to Victoria Nuland, spokesperson for the State Department, and is a member of the influential Aspen Strategy Group, an organization chaired by Brent Scowcroft and staffed with warmongering Bush era neocons, including CFR insiders Richard Armitage and Eliot Cohen. The Aspen Group is funded by the globalist cabal and transnational corporations, including the Rockefeller Brothers. It also takes money from the CIA’s Ford Foundation. Most telling is ISW’s connection to war merchants and profiteers Raytheon, General Dynamics, and DynCorp, the latter accused of trafficking in humans. Recent developments in Iraq by a ruthless and psychopathic Salafist terrorist group created and nurtured by the CIA and Pakistani intelligence bodes well for the neocon cause of total war. It also keeps a highly profitable – for Raytheon, General Dynamics, et al – war on terror moving along its predetermined trajectory. So long as the national security state and its political cliques dominate foreign policy we can expect one crisis after another to keep the perpetual war for perpetual peace juggernaut churning. The establishment media is now ablaze with warnings of a resurgent al-Qaeda. Bruce Riedel, writing for Newsweek’s Daily Beast, says there’s an “al-Qaeda’s renaissance” going on and Afghanistan, Pakistan and the whole of South Asia. The region will experience an al-Qaeda “comeback,” mostly likely within months. “We will need to protect our own interests there,” Riedel explains. “Only that will

prevent another al-Qaeda renaissance in the most dangerous country in the world, Pakistan.” Once again, the role played by Pakistan’s ISI, the CIA and Saudi Arabia in creating the phantom monster known as al-Qaeda is virtually ignored as another wave of hysterical propaganda conditions a war-weary public to the prospect of another decade of war. Dubik insists nothing short of “a ground offensive that includes conventional and special operations forces” will suffice in Iraq to turn back al-Qaeda. “Certainly the violence in Iraq is an Iraqi problem. But it is a problem in which the United States has a stake. Years ago, our country sought to have Iraq as an ally in the war against al-Qaeda and to prevent al-Qaeda from establishing a sanctuary in Iraq. Those aims remain legitimate.” The neocon warning about al-Qaeda and the demand for a military response is ironic considering the level of support the United States has provided for Salafist mercenaries in Syria. “We’ve come full circle from going after al-Qaeda to indirectly backing al-Qaeda,” Bill Gertz quoted a U.S. official as stating following a promise last June by the Obama administration to increase arm shipments to the rebels. In December, it was reported that al-Nusra, described as “the most aggressive and successful arm of the rebel force” that has affirmed its allegiance to al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri, is closely aligned with the so-called secular mercenaries supported by the United States. At the same time, the New York Times reported that al-Nusra was closely aligned to al-Qaeda in Iraq, the same group now taking over large swaths previously captured with no shortage of American blood and treasure. The Obama administration has engaged in a deceptive shell game in Syria. In 2012, the State Department announced it planned to designate Jabhat al-Nusra as a Foreign Terrorist Organization despite the effectiveness of the terror organization on the battlefield and its collaboration with secular mercenaries.
