JP Morgan Executive Becomes 5th Banker To Die In Last 2 Weeks Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com February 12, 2014
Some fear spate of deaths linked to imminent financial crisis Two weeks after the suicide of a JP Morgan banker who jumped to his death from the top of a building, another of the firm’s employees has died, with 37-year-old Ryan Henry Crane becoming the 5th banker fatality in just the last few weeks alone. Crane was an Executive Director in JPM’s Global Program Trading desk based in New York and had been with the firm for 14 years. Few details have been released concerning the nature of his death, with reports merely stating that Crane is survived by his wife and son. “We can only hope this disturbing chain of deaths within the financial industry – one of which involved a nail-gun induced suicide – is purely accidental,” writes Zero Hedge. Some have speculated that the deaths could be a precursor to a major financial collapse, although no hard evidence of a connection has been forthcoming. Gabriel Magee, a 39-year-old senior manager at JP Morgan’s European headquarters, jumped 500ft from the top of the bank’s headquarters in central London on January 27, landing on an adjacent 9 story roof. A few days later, Mike Dueker, the chief economist at Russell Investments, fell down a 50 foot embankment in what police described as a suicide. Dueker was reported missing on January 29 by friends, who said he had been “having problems at work.” On January 26, former Deutsche Bank executive Broeksmit was found dead at his South Kensington home after police responded to reports of a man found hanging at a house. According to reports,
Broeksmit had “close ties to co-chief executive Anshu Jain.” Richard Talley, 57, founder of American Title Services in Centennial, Colorado, was also found dead last week after apparently shooting himself with a nail gun. Tim Dickenson, a U.K.-based communications director at Swiss Re AG, also died last month, although the circumstances surrounding his death are still unknown.
Peter King: Boehner Was ‘Real Leader’ On Debt Vote Wanda Carruthers newsmax.com February 12, 2014
House Speaker John Boehner showed he was a "real leader" by pushing through a vote on a clean debt ceiling bill, Rep. Peter King said Wednesday. "He was a real leader," the New York Republican told MSNBC's "Morning Joe." "I stand by what John Boehner did." With narrow Republican support, the House on Tuesday approved a debt ceiling increase without conditions. The bill allowed an extension of the federal government's borrowing authority for one year. Conservative groups immediately criticized the move, contending it was a missed opportunity to cut spending. King said he was "disgusted" with Republicans who opposed the bill, and maintained Boehner had "tried everything." He said conservative lawmakers "would not budge" on the issue. "So many got up and said they knew they had to pass the debt ceiling, but they didn't have the guts to vote for it. And, they wouldn't vote for anything. That's why he had to do what he did. So, I give him
credit for that," King said. King said Boehner would not allow the threat of another government shutdown, like the one led by Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz last fall, during a debate over a continuing resolution to fund the federal government. He said those congressmen looked "like morons, following Ted Cruz over the cliff."
CNN: Michelle Obama’s ‘Dress Probably Cost Around $12,000′ Daniel Halper The Weekly Standard February 12, 2014
The dress first lady Michelle Obama wore at last night's state dinner was the topic of discussion last night on CNN: One guest thought the cost of the dress was close to $10,000. "Well, first of all, I love the dress on her because I think it's so elegant and so simple. I mean, that shape is what we call the princess shape. It's got that sort of poof at the bottom that's very sort of billowy at the same time. It's strapless. I think we want to call that French blue, maybe," said a guest. "Some people might call it periwinkle and it's got this sort of jet bodice and everything, and I think it's realy pretty. But a dress like that from Mrs. Herrera could potentially run up to almost $10,000." Another guest on CNN last night thought the cost was about $12,000. "Well, by the way, I think that dress probably cost around $12,000. But that's just my guess," said Sally Quinn. "FLOTUS was wearing a black and liberty blue Carolina Herrera gown," the pool reporter said. Only Two House Members Vote Against Meddling In Ukraine’s Internal Affairs Kurt Nimmo Infowars.com February 12, 2014
Vote demonstrates willingness of Congress to repudiate founding principles of the United States On Tuesday evening a mere two members of the U.S. House of Representatives voted against meddling in the internal affairs of Ukraine. Reps. Walter Jones and Thomas Massie, both Republicans, heeded the advice of George Washington, who advised against foreign interventionism, and Thomas Jefferson, who urged “peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.” “We call upon the Ukrainian government to exercise restraint and respect the democratic wishes of the people, and we call upon all sides to avoid violence,” the resolution reads. “While we are encouraged by the partial repeal of recently enacted anti-democratic measures, we continue to urge the government of Ukraine to uphold all democratic rights of Ukrainian citizens,” it continues. The resolution also took Russia to task: “We are also concerned about reports that Russia is behind recent intercepts and disclosures of American and European diplomatic communications, a clear violation of international norms of diplomacy aimed at dividing the United States and Europe.” The tapped phone call between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt revealed a direct role played by the State Department in the protests in Kiev’s Maidan square. It also revealed the State Department’s impatience with the go-slow approach of undermining the Ukrainian government favored by the European Union. “Fuck the EU,” said Nuland, the wife of Robert Kagan, a top level neocon warmonger who is so highly valued by the elite he routinely advises establishment political figures, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who selected Kagan to serve on her Foreign Affairs Policy Board when she was Secretary of State. Nuland and Pyatt discussed installing Arseniy Yatsenyuk, a member of the jailed criminal Yulia Tymoshenko’s Fatherland Party, and working closely with Oleh Tyahnybok of the fascist Svoboda Party. Svoboda operatives have attacked police and trashed government buildings. Jay Carney aptly demonstrated the hypocrisy of the United States after the embarrassing phone call was
posted on Youtube. “I would say that since the video was first noted and tweeted out by the Russian government, I think it says something about Russia’s role.” He didn’t, of course, say anything about the active and ongoing role of the U.S. in undermining the 2010 Ukrainian election that brought Viktor Yanukovych to power. Carney also didn’t bother to mention Russia’s tap is largely insignificant when compared to the NSA’s widespread surveillance, including political figures such as German chancellor Angela Merkel. Russia, along with China and Iran, sits at the top of the NSA surveillance priority list, according to a document leaked by Edward Snowden. Russia is a thorn in the side of the globalist plan to sever the political and trade relationship between Russia and Ukraine and introduce the sort of austerity measures currently pushing Europe into the social and economic decline favored by the elite. The House vote demonstrates the willingness of Congress to violate and repudiate the founding principles of the United States. The ideas of Thomas Paine are nowhere to be found. His Common Sense instilled noninterventionist ideas into American politics. The Monroe Doctrine held that the United States would not interfere with European colonies nor meddle in the internal affairs of European countries. After 1890, however, all of this changed. The United States was actively intervening in the sovereign affairs of countries around the world, including Argentina, Chile, Haiti, China, Nicaragua, Korea, Panama, the Philippines, Honduras, Cuba, Mexico, Turkey, Guatemala, and many others.
