Rand Paul: Bundy Siege Is Why Americans Are Getting Angry With Federal Government Paul Joseph Watson Infowars.com April 22, 2014

Senator slams feds’ “outrageous” abuse of power Senator Rand Paul says the siege against Nevada cattle rancher Cliven Bundy is a perfect example of why Americans are getting increasingly angry at the federal government’s outrageous abuse of power. During an appearance with Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren last night, Paul cited the egregious nationwide enforcement of the Endangered Species Act, which is only serving to enflame tensions. One of the reasons cited by the Bureau of Land Management to justify the seizure of Bundy’s cattle was that his cows were harming the endangered desert tortoise. “That kind of absurdity coming from the federal government is why people get angry, said the Kentucky Senator, adding, “They charge homeowners or property owners in Kentucky money to chop down our trees if they find a bat on the land. So really, this needs to be administered closer to home so we wouldn’t have, I think, such outrageous overstepping by authorities.” “Even if he paid his grazing fees back in 1993, they weren’t going to let him — they were going to limit the number of his cattle and limit his area to graze. So as a lot of people know about the West, you have to have a lot of acreage to graze cattle. So I think they were limiting it and he felt it wasn’t their right to do so. There is real debate where whether this land should be owned by the federal government or state government,” said Paul. Addressing Harry Reid’s labeling of Bundy supporters as “domestic terrorists,” a charge which the Nevada Senator repeated despite a widespread backlash, Paul stated, “I think we need to tone down the rhetoric a little bit. I think all of us hope or should hope that we get a peaceful outcome to this.” General discontent at the direction Washington is heading soared after last year’s government shutdown, with 87 per cent of Americans expressing frustration at the situation, 43 per cent of whom

described themselves as “angry”. Although the United States has not suffered anything like the kind of unrest seen in many European countries in recent years, most of which was fueled by contempt at government corruption and austerity measures, some analysts are predicting that 2015 could be a turning point. Economist Martin Armstrong sees the Bundy situation as an early sign of what’s to come, noting that, “The confrontation in Nevada between Cliven Bundy and the Bureau of Land Management, whose Director was Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) former senior adviser, has turned into an issue of important cycle unrest,” adding that, “civil unrest will develop first outside the USA and turn up more aggressively in the USA after 2015.” Meanwhile, an upcoming documentary by Casey Research entitled Meltdown America warns that the U.S. military is now preparing for the collapse of the dollar. A preview clip features publisher Scott Taylor discussing how he attended a luncheon held by General Walt Natynczyk during which he was told that top brass were seriously studying “what would happen to the American military abroad, what would they do if the American dollar suddenly became worthless.”

SPLC Admits U.N. Losing Battle With Grassroot Activists Over Agenda 21 Kit Daniels Infowars.com April 22, 2014

More Americans now realize that Agenda 21 expands government power at the expense of individual liberties The Southern Poverty Law Center recently admitted that proponents of the United Nations’ neofeudalism program known as Agenda 21 are losing public support due to the ever-growing influence of grassroot organizations. In its latest report entitled “Agenda 21: The U.N., Sustainability and RightWing Conspiracy Theory,” the SPLC indicates that the implementation of Agenda 21, a United Nations program designed to replace private control of land with government planning, is slowing down due to

successful resistance by liberty activists across the country. “At least three states — Arizona, Missouri and Oklahoma — have considered laws, each of which passed one chamber of their legislatures, to halt the purportedly noxious effects of Agenda 21; Alabama went all the way, passing a 2012 law that was signed by Gov. Robert Bentley,” the report states. “Major political battles have broken out over it in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Montana, Ohio and Texas.” “Even the Republican National Committee, in January 2012, denounced Agenda 21 as a ‘destructive and insidious scheme’ to impose a ‘socialist/communist redistribution of wealth.’” Signed in 1992 by President George H.W. Bush and later phased in by President Bill Clinton, the United Nations Agenda 21 Sustainable Development program is based on communitarianism, which calls for government to eventually take control of all land use without leaving any decision making in the hands of private property owners. “It is assumed that people are not good stewards of their land and the government will do a better job if they are in control,” Agenda 21 expert Rosa Koire wrote on the subject, who is a Californian Democrat and the author of Behind The Green Mask: U.N. Agenda 21. “Individual rights in general are to give way to the needs of communities as determined by the governing body.” Some of the features of Agenda 21 include but are not limited to: - The development of expensive and inefficient public rail systems in cities in order to increase centralized government control while also reducing the use of private transportation - Utilities monitored by “Smart Meters” which can be controlled remotely by public utility companies - The purposeful lack of easy freeway access in cities so residents remain close to their neighborhoods - The accelerated implementation of toll roads, especially toll roads that discourage driving by increasing prices for traveling alone or for driving in “congested” areas Another good example of how Agenda 21 is currently being implemented is to look at the explosion of “mixed use” condos being built in American cities which feature retail stores on the ground floor with several residential floors above. These buildings are designed to keep people from traveling long distances by placing businesses within walking distance, but the stores on the ground floor typically stay vacant or are filled with businesses which seem out of place with the surrounding neighborhood. In one major city in Texas, for example, a high-end pub with an expensive menu opened up on the ground floor of a “mixed use” condo and began charging $14 for hamburgers despite the neighborhood having an average annual income of around $40,000. The current push by cities to completely replace private transportation such as cars with public transportation and bike lanes is another aspect of Agenda 21. Hamburg, Germany is already planning to ban cars within its city limits in the next 20 years. And despite being fiction, the megacities in the comic series Judge Dredd feature many planned aspects of Agenda 21, a scary scenario even if real cities never completely match these fictional counterparts. The overall intent of Agenda 21 is to expand government power at the expense of individual liberties by making the population more dependent on city infrastructure controlled by the government. While the SPLC and other Agenda 21 proponents constantly harp that the program is “voluntary,” it is a moot point when so many cities are already implementing Agenda 21 which clearly benefits the government at the expense of its citizens. “The plan is to restrict your choices, limit your funds, narrow your freedoms and take away your voice,” Koire added.

Obama Calls For Highest Sustained Taxation In U.S. History Terence P. Jeffrey CNS News April 22, 2014 In the budget proposal he presented to Congress last month, President Barack Obama called for what would be the highest level of sustained taxation ever imposed on the American people, according to the analysis published last week by the Congressional Budget Office. Under Obama’s proposal, taxes would rise from 17.6 percent of Gross Domestic Product in 2014 to 19.2 percent in 2024. During the ten years from 2015 to 2024, federal taxation would average 18.7 percent GDP. America has never been subjected to a ten-year stretch of taxation at that level. In the twelve fiscal years preceding the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor (1930 through 1941), federal taxation averaged 5.3 percent of GDP.

In the five fiscal years encompassing U.S. involvement in World War II (1942 through 1946), federal taxation averaged 16.1 percent of GDP. In the fiscal years since World War II (1947 through 2013), federal taxation has averaged 17.1 percent of GDP. In the period from fiscal 1992 through 2001, federal taxes averaged 18.3 percent of GDP. But in the last four years of that period (1998 through 2001), the federal budget was in balance. In the twelve fiscal years from 2002 through 2013, federal taxes averaged 16.1 percent of GDP—the same that they averaged during World War II. However, the federal government ran deficits in each of those twelve years. In all ten years from 2015 through 2024, under Obama's proposal, federal taxes would be higher than 18.3 percent of GDP. During the period of 1992 through 2011, there were only five straight years (1997-2001) when federal taxes were higher than 18.3 percent of GDP. Under Obama’s budget proposal, according to the CBO, the budget will never balance. But over the next ten years, the federal government would add $7.183 trillion to its debt held by the public.

While adding that $7.183 trillion to the debt held by the public, Obama would increase taxes by $1.4 trillion, said the CBO report. “The President’s budget would make a number of changes to the tax law,” said the report. “If enacted, those changes would boost revenues by $32 billion in 2015, and by $1.4 trillion, or about 3 percent, during the 2015-2024 period.”
