Hey Krakens! I hope everyone had a nice end to their summer and is getting back into the swing of things. September is a busy month for all of us. With college apps, fall sports, and SATs, let’s try not to stress out too much. Also, the Membership Campaign and PNWOF have just kicked off. Be sure to use these resouces. I wish you the best of luck with your first club meeting, and hope to see you at our September DCM! In Love and Service,

& his Key Club Story Hey Key Clubbers! My name is Andrew Kim and I am the current vice-president at Thomas Jefferson’s Key Club. Key Club has always stood as an opportunity to provide service, build character, and develop leadership. To me, this chance to show dedication and care for our community has always driven me to continue joining Key Club from the beginning of freshman year to now as a senior. It was this same desire to help others that drove me to become an officer. Key Club has brought me to learn more about our community while opening new chapters in my life. Many of the activities helped me bond with other members and this friendly environment helped me open up to the club and find dedication to this club. Key Club, in many ways, has pushed me out of my safe zones, exposing me to situations I had either never experienced or did not like to go through. Because of this, Key Club has had a great impact on my leadership roles, helping me become more outgoing and empathetic towards others. In the end, this club holds a special place in my heart due to the loving and family-like environment it creates while striving to give back to our community. It has yet to fail to inspire me and I am so grateful for all the beneficial assets the club has provided to me and to my community. I know that there are endless possibilities for Key Club this year and I will forever be proud to be a Kraken.
