Georgia’s largest non-for-profit health system, WellStar Health System, operates nine hospitals, five health parks, eighteen urgent care locations and eight emergency rooms in the Atlanta metro and northwest Georgia. In addition to the county’s three hospitals, residents have access to various health care networks and providers, including Kaiser Permanente and Northside Hospital, each offering a robust range of specialties.
