Morning Session - 9.00am / 9.00 - 9.15 AM Welcome and Intro to A-Day Agenda (15mins) Introduction to the day, with a breakfast buttie and coffee to hand! / 9.15 - 9.30 AM Summary of Year Achievements Video (15mins) The day starts off with a look over the last year or so and some time for reflection. Sit back relax and soak up all of your achievements. These include 10KSB, KAN, M2L and a huge amount of successful research. Not to mention things you have been up to outside of work. / 9.30 - 10.00 AM Icebreaker (30mins) A short icebreaker to get us into the swing of things, led by Kath/Jon / 10.00 - 11.30 AM Giving Feedback and Communication (90mins) Alison Laithwaite from the MMU Learning and Development team has kindly agreed to offer us a session around communication and how to give feedback. After 6.9 years at House of Frazer, 5.4 years at Marks and Spencers and nearly 15 years keeping MMU in shape, Alison brings a huge amount of experience in training staff to achieve their potential. / 12.00 - 1.15 PM LUNCH (75mins)

Afternoon Session - 1.15pm / 1.15 - 2.00 PM What does 2015/16 look like for CfE? (45mins) The year ahead is set to be an exciting, challenging and varied one for the Centre. New initiatives are getting underway and old programmes are returning, to complement our already busy schedule. Jennie, Jonathan and Sue are going to lead this session and talk us through what the next year at the Centre for Enterprise currently looks like. / 2.00 - 2.10 PM Walk over to Brazenose Street, M2 6LW (10mins) After selecting our teams and a quick tidy up, we must now walk over to Brazenose Street. We will NOT be returning to Albert Square Chop House, so please take all of your belongings with you. Bra

And now for the fun bit!

Our next destination is a short walk from the Chophouse across Albert Square and left into Brazennose Street. You’ll enter number 14a, but will you leave! At 2.10pm we’ll make our way round to Breakout Manchester - a sort of 21st Century Crystal Maze.

Breakout Rooms You have 60minutes... In your hour, you’ll need to work as a team, solve clues and tackle probelms to mastermind your escape. We have booked five themed rooms and you will be put into teams to take on this challenge. You have only 60 minutes to BREAKOUT. The rooms are as follows:

Sabotage >

DIFFICULTY

Go deep behind enemy territory and stop a missile strike which endangers the safety of the entire world. You need to break into the control centre and stop the launch or the consequence will be catastrophic.

Virus >

DIFFICULTY

Slow down the outbreak and find the cure? Do so or the fate of mankind may be in jeopardy. It has some great, unique and ingenious puzzles that makes the room very special indeed.

Infiltrate >

DIFFICULTY

One of your friends has been wrongfully imprisoned. Infiltrate the prison and help them break free? Before the warden comes back off his lunch break, you mustf ind his swipe card and escape or you will all be incarcerated.

Madchester >

DIFFICULTY

Zack is a passionate collector of anything Manchester related. Trapped in his bedroom you have 60 minutes to steal Zack's valuable collectables and escape before he comes back.

John Monroe's Detective Office >

DIFFICULTY

You are being framed as the killer of famous detective John Monroe. You are on the run and have gained access to his office, the crime scene. Save yourself by finding out who killed him, why someone killed him and how they killed him?
