Biomedical Science

• Study as part of a small group on a course accredited by the Royal Society of Biology (RSB) and Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS). We work closely with local scientific employers, including the NHS, to help you gain experience and build your professional network.

• Take part in innovative experiments, and research how the human body responds to disease and treatment. Your research and findings could have impact outside the laboratory, and contribute to ongoing research into disease prevention.

• Graduate with a wide range of STEM based career options. You could become part of the biomedical science workforce that is essential to the NHS, or pursue a career in areas such as research, data analysis, scientific writing, patent law or science teaching. You could also consider postgraduate routes into medicine.
