P!NK and chewing gum A university project, where we had to create an album cover for a known singer, using some sort of 3D, hand-made typography. In this case, the design is made out of chewing gum and metal wire to symbolize the fun and edgy character as well as the “fuck you attitude of the singer P!NK.
1. After much experimentation, this is the photograph used for the CD cover.

Love 2 … ABC I am currently working on my own logo and corporate identity. I decided to call my studio L2D, Love 2 Design and came up with a logo that combines these three letters in a very calligraphic way. At first sight, the logo also looks like a capital D, which stands for my name, Diana. I don’t only love to deisgn, but also Love2Tweet, Love2Question, Love2Laugh. In order to accomodate other “Love2” areas, I created the whole L2-Alphabet to keep my options open. These capital letters now fit very well within the corporate design structure and could be used for various purposes.
1. Combining L+2+D, a rather unique “D” is born. This becomes the logo of Love2 Industries (opposite page). The Logo also reminds of a D and O, my initials.
2. Sketches at various stages in the development of the alphabet.
3. The curent state of the alphabet, drawn in Illustrator.
