Firstly, congratulations!! This is an incredible journey as you navigate your new growing family, you deserve beautiful photographs to celebrate and honour this wonderful time in your lives. We specialise in creating timeless photographs, working along side you every step of the way from your initial enquiry, through to your exciting delivery. Your experience is important to us, with this in mind, we take a limited number of sessions per month to ensure that our timeline and your experience is a wonderful one. Please be sure to book early, usually from 14 weeks to schedule your Maternity Session around 33-36 weeks and your Newborn Session between 4-21 days. For families and Milestones, please book 1-3 months in advance to ensure availability. Your session fee secures your booking in our schedule, this fee also covers your full professional shoot and your selection gallery, either online or in studio. Family We love that our cherished client families return to Laara each year to update their family portraits. We love being with you as your children grow. Being your photographer over the years is an honour and we absolutely love it! Photographs of our children are so important to us as parents and grandparents. My children love seeing their cherished little faces on our walls - they feel connected to their past and how much they have grown, along with our endless love for them. Our sessions are designed to capture the love you have for one another, we encourage children to play and interact with you and each other. The best photographs are those made of memories filled with love. Wardrobe and styling are important for any session, when you are selecting session outfits, something that balances well between you all is a great idea. similar tones in a colour palette is perfect. Avoiding stripes and bold patterns or logos is also very important. FAMILY SESSION FEE $150
Milestone Creative sessions that celebrate your little one's first year. Sitter: 6-9 Months Designed to capture those squishy baby faces when they first start to sit unaided, generally before they start to walk. These are some of my favourite to photograph across all portrait genres. They are excited, sweet, adorable and cheeky. Birthday: 11-14 Months Each year thereafter we photograph their BIRTHDAY session. Designed to incorporate themes that your little one loves. Your choice of either classic portraits or our cake smash and bubble tub options. We cherish our long lasting relationships with you, capturing their personalities and growth over the years is such a pleasure. MILESTONE SESSION FEE $150 Includes props and outfits for 6-9 months and 12 months CAKE SMASH SESSION FEE $200 Including set options, cake, splash tub and outfits

FAQ WHEN DO WE MAKE PAYMENT? Your session fee is due upon booking, your package is due once we place an order from your draft gallery.
PAYMENT METHODS Your invoice will provide payment methods, but generally bank transfer or online card payments are secure and easy.
WHEN DO WE SEE OUR PHOTOS? Your initial draft gallery is usually ready for you to make your selection either from home via an online gallery, or in person in the studio. They are not the final images, or downloadable. From your selection we finalise the image editing and place your order, this process usually takes four - six weeks from your session date through to displaying your beautiful art.
THE AVAERAGE SPEND Clients typically purchase the 'Album', 'Canvas' or 'Full Gallery' options. Digital collections begin at $650, but almost all clients select the canvas package at $2,900 and receive their full digital gallery (usually 50-60 images) plus 5x large Canvas Prints made locally in Brisbane, including an incredible 75 year guarantee.
