Adanac Hill Pavilion Year 2 - Semester 2 April 2018 Individual The pavilion is an extention of the landscape on the Adanac ski hill and is influenced by the rock within the ground and the forest around it. The building has three floors for multpile uses including community gathering spaces and outdoor activity spaces. The building sits on top of the hill with a view of the entire city of Sudbury. The pavilion extends out its use to be a main point of intersection for skiers to take a break at the top of the hill.

Oculus Prime Year 1 14 Team Members February 2017 The task was to build an ice station for the community. The dome is put together using hexagon and pentagon pieces. The pavilion was put together without the use of any tools or nails. Twine and dowels were used to hold all of the pieces together and proved to be very strong. The pavilion was placed on the skating path for community members to skate by and take a rest if needed. The pieces are easy to disassemble for relocation.

Community Courtyard (Residence) Year 4 2 Team Members September 2019 - April 2020 Through this project, our goal was to create co-generational housing that would be affordable for students and seniors. My partner and I were responsible for developing a housing structure that would occupy eighty beds. In addition to this, we were challenged to take an existing market and remodel it. The main strategy for this site was to incorporate courtyards so that residents are given a space to socialize with each other. The site is an extention of the existing greenway plan that was strategized to regreen the downtown core of Sudbury. There is an existing VIA railway station that will be available to residents and community members.

Community Courtyard The Farmer’s Market located in downtown Sudbury along Elgin Street is populated with local restaurants and very few students and young adults. Through this project, our goal is to create co-generational housing that would be affordable for students and for seniors as well as creating a bond between generations and the site. Our design is an extension of the Elgin Greenway which passes through both the residential building and the market building. Both courtyard is completely open to the community to be used at any time of the day. There are openings along the site that connects the ground floor to the basement level. his allows for natural light to enter the space. The goal of the project is to increase the activities on the site by bringing the residents and nearby community members together.
