The reaction block allows syntheses to be carried out in round flasks at temperatures of up to 180째C. This system ensures optimal heat transfer from the heating plate directly into the medium. Uniform mixing is also guaranteed because there is no interference to the magnetic field from the aluminium blocks. The Teflon coating prevents burning and ensures that working with the system is safe. Reaction blocks are available in three standard sizes. 3 Magnetic Stirrer Heads Complete

Perfect combination of drive shaft with ball bearings, rotor and lower bearing made of Bohlender PTFE/PEEK and a rod made of borosilicate glass. Requires little space due to compact construction. No leakage or memory effects due to non-porous, welded rotor. This rotor holds the stirrer shaft by means of three stud screws which are fixed into counterbores on the stirrer shaft. This provides optimum power transmission and secure mounting. The 6mm square drive can be fixed into the stirrer coupling or into the agitator. -

Fitted with a permanent magnetic coupling for insertion into NS29/32 sockets. Can also Buddeberg fit NS45/40 sockets using an accessory adapter. The stirrer head can be used with aggressive acids and alkalis, as well as all solvents that do not affect PTFE. Maximum operational temperature: 180°C, maximum speed: 800 rpm. The drive shaft contains ceramic and glass needle bearings and has a clamping screw to hold 8 mm dia. glass and steel stirrer rotor shafts.

Viton O-ring seals on the cone prevent heat expansion or clamping on the glass joint. Provides a low friction bearing for any drive. Maximum speed: 2500 rpm. Stuart

Designed for use with microtitre plates and microcentrifuge tubes. The aluminium tray is fitted with a specially designed mat that securely holds in place up to four wellplates. High speed combined with a tiny orbit creates the vibrational shaking action required for mixing the very small volumes contained in the wells or in microcentrifuge tubes. Speed is variable from 250 to 1250 rpm and is easily set via the digital display. Shaking times can be set from 1second to 9999 minutes on the built in digital timer. The unit can also be set for continuous operation. Tube holders are available as optional accessories. They fit securely onto the platform turning the unit into an effective tube mixer.
