Kartell This unique stirrer is operated either by water pressure between 1 and 2.5 Kg/cm²(15 to 40 psi) or by air pressure. No electrical supply is needed, thus eliminating heat, electric shock and explosion hazards. Corrosion-proof, all-plastic construction. Can be used on the bench or clamped to a stand with a 12 mm (½") diameter rod using the integral bosshead.

Quarter System IKA The carrier plate can be fitted with four identical, or differing, aluminium quarter segments, allowing up to 36 reaction vessels to be processed at the same time. IKA

The reaction block allows syntheses to be carried out in round flasks at temperatures of up to 180째C. This system ensures optimal heat transfer from the heating plate directly into the medium. Uniform mixing is also guaranteed because there is no interference to the magnetic field from the aluminium blocks. The Teflon coating prevents burning and ensures that working with the system is safe. Reaction blocks are available in three standard sizes. The SI400 consists of an end switch (normally closed contact/switch) and a magnetic IKA switch contact (actuator) which is mounted either on the floor stand R472 with the fixing device SI472 or alternatively on the telescopic stand R474 with the fixing device SI474.

The stirring unit RW47 can only be switched on through the SI400, when the agitator is adjusted to the user-selected height within the mixing vessel.

The power supply to the RW47 automatically shuts off if the stirring unit is lifted above the selected height.

The stainless steel core provides the required rigidity. They can therefore easily be clamped into overhead stirrer chucks. Since the medium only comes in contact with PTFE, the rotors are almost entirely chemically and temperature resistant. Bola stirrer rotors correspond dimensionally with (KPG) glass stirring shafts and can therefore be interchanged at any time.

Perfect combination of drive shaft with ball bearings, rotor and lower bearing made of Bohlender PTFE/PEEK and a rod made of borosilicate glass. Requires little space due to compact construction. No leakage or memory effects due to non-porous, welded rotor. This rotor holds the stirrer shaft by means of three stud screws which are fixed into counterbores on the stirrer shaft. This provides optimum power transmission and secure mounting. The 6mm square drive can be fixed into the stirrer coupling or into the agitator.

1 Rotating Shaker 3040 The specialist shaker with uniform rotating motion. Various applications, e.g. for precise GFL sedimention, mixing and processing of soil samples (particularly well-suited for processing soil samples in glass/plastic wide mouth vessels up to 2000ml rated volume as per DIN 38414, Part 4 to German Standard Methods for Water, Wastewater and Sludge Analysis - Determination of Leachability by Water.

Compact, low-wear drive mechanism. External housing is made of electrolytically galvanized, powder-coated sheet steel. Clearly laid out control panel for easy operation. With LED speed display. Holding device guarantees easy clamping of sample vessels on the shaking rack. Electronic, stepless speed control, constant speed during continuous operation. Rotating rack incorporates ball bearings on both sides, accommodating a max. of 12 flasks/vessels, round or rectangular, up to 110mm max. dia. and 270mm max. height, stacked in 4 levels, each level with 3 holding frames.

Drive motion is achieved via a v-belt and a sliding hub. With stainless steel clamping frame for safe securing of the sample vessels. For ambient temperatures from 10 to 40°C. Maintenance-free, GS safety approval, CE marked.

Stuart

Designed for use with microtitre plates and microcentrifuge tubes. The aluminium tray is fitted with a specially designed mat that securely holds in place up to four wellplates. High speed combined with a tiny orbit creates the vibrational shaking action required for mixing the very small volumes contained in the wells or in microcentrifuge tubes. Speed is variable from 250 to 1250 rpm and is easily set via the digital display. Shaking times can be set from 1second to 9999 minutes on the built in digital timer. The unit can also be set for continuous operation. Tube holders are available as optional accessories. They fit securely onto the platform turning the unit into an effective tube mixer.
